About the Santa Fe Market
Mission: to create sustainability for folk
art and folk artists worldwide
• Santa Fe Market is a non-profit in NM and is applying for a
501(c)(3) federal nonprofit status
• Last year: 14,000 visitors, $1.3 million sales. This year expected
20,000 visitors. USA’s biggest folk art market.

About the Santa Fe Market
• 93 % of the money taken goes directly to the artists and provide
immediate benefit to the home communities
• The training taught artists the information and skills they need to
promote their work in international markets and build sustainable
incomes for themselves in their home countries
• “Market proves how, in the global economy we, can spend our
dollars to make a palpable difference in the lives of people
who are struggling to maintain long-held traditions”
