This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 4759-3:2000
Tolerances for fasteners Part 3: Plain
washers for bolts, screws and nuts Product grades A and C issued by the International Organization
for Standardization
( ISO ) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation
of
the Bolts, Nuts and Fasteners Accessories Sectional Committee and approval of the Basic and Production
Engineering Division Council.
The text of ISO Standard has been approved as suitable for publication as Indian Standard without
deviations.
Certain terminology
and conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian
Standards.

Scope

This part of ISO 4759 establishes a selection of tolerances for use in the preparation of ISO product standards for
punched plain washers of product grades A and C, for use with bolts, screws and nuts of nominal thread diameters
of from 1 mm to 150 mm inclusive.
