1.0

INTRODUCTION

1.1

Rakan Muda programme was officially launched by the Prime Minister on

29 October 1994 with a core mission to produce the highest potential of the
younger generation to be able to support national development goals. The
challenges of this mission are to form complete young cluster of values, positive
thinking, master knowledge and skills to weather the coming advanced
civilization. Emphasis youth development approach is total involvement of the
youth and the local community. Teens will be moved together with the local
community in implementing various activities, including economic, social and
cultural.

2.0

OBJECTIVE

2.1

To empower its members to significantly improve their personal and

professional effectiveness, through the various activity in order to achieve a
purposeful and principle centered life.

2.2

To provide an opportunity for students to get first-hand knowledge on

Society Management Systems practiced. To cater to the personal development
of the students, value adding programs like on communication skills, listening
skills, problem-solving skills, group discussion, career guidance programmers,
creative thinking, interpersonal skills and public speaking.

2.3

To strengthen the relationship between UniKL MITEC and Ministry of Youth

and Sports Malaysia

CONCLUSION

Rakan Muda is a platform in guaranteeing the continuity of excellence in all

aspects of life through the application of positive values through active lifestyles,
healthy and productive. Thus, this is the best platform to help our country in
achieving Wawasan 2020.
