La globalizzazione e' un processo graduale e irreversibile dove si e' indotti a

credere che uno stato per vivere e prosperare debba unirsi al resto del mondo fo
rmando cosi una grande e unica nazione. Per alcuni e' associata alla cancellazio
ne delle frontiere tra diversi stati, agevolando e velocizzando gli scambi. Per
altri e' uno sviluppo industriale di propagazione di culture e idee. La globaliz
zazione quindi e' una condizione dove l'intero mondo funziona come un sistema un
ico e, ogni stato contribuisce a modo suo.
Ovviamente non possiamo definire la globalizzazione come qualcosa di buono o cat
tivo. Anzitutto la globalizzazione ha contribuito largamente all'economia mondia
le come per esempio alcuni brand conosciuti in tutto il mondo hanno portato all
apertura di nuovi posti di lavoro e talvolta si occupano di carita'. Ciononostan
te finche' le multinazionali prosperano le piccole aziende perdono. Spesso per l
oro e' molto difficile competere con le aziende che possono disporre di vasti ca
pitali e sono agevolate dai prezzi concorrenziali. Un altro fattore della global
izzazione e' la riduzione delle distanze tra un paese e l'altro e viaggi interco
ntinentali che prima erano un miraggio ora sono diventati la norma. Tuttavia c'e
un altro fattore negativo ed e' quello della perdita della cultura e dell'ident
ita' di uno stato che viene sommerso da prodotti esteri. E piu lo stato e' picco
lo e meno attenzione il governo dedica alla salvaguardia delle proprie tradizion
i.
In risultato la globalizzazione ha creato una moltitudine di organizzazioni a li
vello globale che tentano di risolvere i problemi politici, economici, etnici de
lle diverse nazioni e culture mentre i governi dovrebbero avviare una politica i
nternazionale piu' competente, mirata ad aprire i confini soltanto quando lo sta
to stesso e' capace di competere con il resto del mondo.
