MRCPI PART II Obstetric & Gynecology

MRCOG Module

The entry requirements of MRCPI Part II Obstetrics &


Gynecology, which assessed your familiarity of
medical subjects that are important to clinical
practice in O&G.
Qualifications
You are eligible to apply for this exam if:
1.

You have conceded MRCPI Part I General


Medicine or Paediatrics, or are exempt from MRCPI
Part I.

2.

You have accomplished a stage of postgraduate


schooling in posts renowned by the Institute of
Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Presently, you must have completed two years


time period of post-registration training in

documented posts, one year in Obstetrics and one


year in Gynecology (or two years in jointly posts).

Both recognized post must be for a least


phase of six months.

Any request for alteration of any of these


supplies will be measured on personal basis.

Your preparation should be finished by 1


January earlier than the March examination, and by
7 August earlier than the September examination.
3. You offer testimonials from two mediators who
are medical practitioners and who are eager to be
a witness to the facts of your preparation and also
to your specialized and own character.

We set aside the right to take up


supplementary references without reference to
you.

We also hold back our right to decline consent


for any applicant to endeavor either component of
the examination.
You must finish all your efforts at this exam in the
range of seven years of the date of your
achievement in, or immunity from, MRCPI Part 1.
There will be no expansion to this seven-year term.
Keep in mind that exclusion comes into
consequence from the first session of the MRCPI
Part II examination.

qualification (for MRCOG Part I, you will need a
pass letter)

A testimonial

by two doctors of five years

A Commissioner for Oaths

Exemptions

If you have one of these credentials, you are


considered entitled to apply for MRCPI Part II for
Obstetrics and Gynecology:
MRCOG Part I (exemption from MRCOG Part 1 is not
accepted)
MRACOG (Australia)
MRNZCOG (New Zealand)
FCOG (SA)
FCPS (O&G) (Pakistan)
MRANZCOG
MMed (O&G) (Malaysia)
How to claim an exemption
Upload an attested copy of your qualification(s)
when applying online for the exam.
