College Freshmen and Their Use of Online Social Networks (On-Going) The purpose of this study is to determine what types of online social networks, and how those types of online social networks, are being used by college freshmen. This study seeks to learn the changes that take place with college students in their use of online social networks during the course of the freshmen year, and how those experiences enrich, as well as detract from, their lives as college students.
