which encourages people to take tasks and gain valuable experience (Csikszentmihalyi, 1997).
Based on the theories above, attitude in reading comprehension for this research is
defined as personal judgments of one's favor to organize and execute the activity of reading to
attain the reading comprehension which covers three main dimensions, namely willingness,
importance, and inhibition.
b. Operational Definition of Attitude
Attitude in reading comprehension for this research is defined as personal judgments of
one's favor to organize and execute the activity of reading to attain the reading comprehension
which covers three main dimensions, namely namely willingness, importance, and inhibition.
The scale is in form of a five-scaled Likert questionnaire which covers a set of questions
related to attitude in reading comprehension.
