1. Caractersticas
El ruteador inalmbrico con puertos LAN y WAN, permite crear una red
almbrica e inalmbrica (transmisin de hasta 300 Mbps), cumpliendo con
los protocolos estndar de autentificacin y seguridad, incorpora en el panel
frontal botn para activar/desactivar funcin WPS.
Puede usarse para compartir una conexin de Internet, e interconectarse
con dispositivos de menor velocidad o estndar anteriores (802,11b,y

2.3. Procedimientos de instalacin de hardware

Para conectar el Ruteador Inalmbrico, tome como referencia la siguiente
imagen:

Conecte un extremo del cable Ethernet al puerto Ethernet de su

computadora y el otro extremo a uno de los puertos LAN del ruteador.
Conecte otro cable Ethernet del mdem de cable / DSL al puerto WAN
del ruteador.
Conecte el adaptador de corriente al enchufe en la parte trasera del
ruteador y a una toma de CA.

2.4. Restaurar valores predeterminados de fbrica

Si el ruteador se congela en un proceso de cambio de opcin, si no
puede acceder a l porque no se puede recordar la IP asignada o cualquier
otro problema, quizs tenga que utilizar el botn de RESET en la parte
posterior del ruteador para regresar a la configuracin de fbrica. Mantenga
pulsado este botn durante unos segundos (2-6) con un lpiz cuando se
est trabajando, suelte y se restaurar la configuracin de fbrica.
La otra forma de restaurar la configuracin de fbrica es a travs de la
interfaz de usuario utilizada en la instalacin. Haga clic en System
management- Reset , y haga clic en el botn Reset.

3. Configurar el equipo
Puede administrar el Ruteador Inalmbrico a travs de la utilidad de
configuracin basada en navegador Web.
Para configurar el dispositivo a travs del navegador Web, por lo menos un
equipo configurado correctamente se debe conectar al dispositivo a travs
de Ethernet o red inalmbrica.

El Ruteador Inalmbrico est pre configurado con la direccin IP 192.168.1.1,

la mscara de subred 255.255.255.0 y est habilitado el servidor DHCP
de forma predeterminada. Antes de configurar el ruteador, asegrese de
que sus computadoras estn configuradas para obtener una direccin IP
automticamente desde el ruteador siguiendo los pasos mostrados a
continuacin.

3.1 Configuracin
3.1.1. Windows XP
1. Abra Mi PC en el escritorio o desde el men
Inicio. Haga clic derecho en Mis sitios de
red en el men Otros sitios a la izquierda y
seleccione Propiedades. Haga clic derecho
sobre Conexin de rea Local en la ventana
que aparece y seleccione Propiedades.
2. En la ventana que aparece, debajo de Esta
conexin utiliza los siguientes elementos:
seleccione Protocolo Internet (TCP / IP) y haga
clic en el botn Propiedades situado en la parte
inferior.

3.2. Comprobacin de la conexin al ruteador

el comando ping, abra la ventana de DOS y ejecute el comando ping a la
direccin IP del Ruteador Inalmbrico:
Para Windows 98/Me: Inicio Ejecutar. Escriba command y haga clic
en Aceptar.
Para Windows 2000/XP: Inicio Ejecutar. Escriba cmd y haga clic en
Aceptar.
Para Windows Vista / 7 Inicio Accesorios Smbolo del sistema.
En el DOS, escriba el siguiente comando: ping 192.168.1.1

3.3. Entrar a la interfaz del ruteador

Abra un navegador web (Safari, Internet Explorer, etc) en el equipo que
acaba de conectar al ruteador, escriba http://192.168.1.1 en la barra de
direcciones, y pulse ENTER.

En la ventana, introduzca su nombre de usuario

y la contrasea de visitante, y despus de clic en
OK.

Despus de que se haya registrado,aparecer la interfase de usuario.

El men de la izquierda muestra las opciones para configurar el sistema, la
pantalla derecha es la informacin resumida para ver y ajustar las
configuraciones.

4. Ajuste del ruteador

4.1 Ajustes de Conexin a Internet
La mayora de las conexiones utilizan un IP dinmico (DHCP) y el predeterminado est configurado ya aqu. Si tiene otro tipo de conexin (como IP
esttico), necesitar hacer clic en Convenient Setup (Configuracin conveniente) en el men e introduzca la informacin dada por su proveedor de
servicio y despus haga clic en Save (Guardar).

Ya estar conectado a Internet. Haga clic en System Information

(Informacin de Sistema) Internet access info (Informacin de Acceso a
Internet) para ver si usted tiene un IP, puerta de enlace, etc. (refirindose a
la imagen siguiente). Si no tiene, su proveedor de servicio probablemente
requiera clonar la direccin MAC de su computadora al ruteador. Para ello,
haga clic en Internet Setup (Ajuste del ruteador) en el men, despus haga
clic en el botn Clone MAC address (Clonar direccin MAC) para obtener
la direccin de MAC de su equipo y despus haga clic en el botn Save
(Guardar).

Si no est conectado, su proveedor de servicio probablemente requiera

clonar la direccin MAC de su computadora al ruteador. Para ello, haga clic
en Internet Setup en el men, haga clic en el botn Clone MAC address
para obtener la direccin de MAC de su equipo y despus haga clic en el
botn siguiente de Save (Guardar).
Si no sigue conectado, o experimenta un conexin errtica, su mdem debe
tener el mismo IP que su ruteador (192.168.1.1). Necesitar cambiar el IP de
su ruteador. Haga clic en LAN Setup LAN IP Address y podr ver sta IP
en la interfaz principal. Deber editarlo diferente (por ejemplo 192.168.2.1).
Despus de introducir el nuevo IP, haga clic en Save, el ruteador se
reiniciar, y necesitar introducir el nombre de usuario y la contrasea
nuevamente. De nuevo revise el estado del sistema de IP, y pruebe la
conexin.
Nota: Necesitar introducir el nuevo IP en el navegador para acceder la
interfaz del usuario para cualquier cambio futuro de ajustes.

4.2 WPS
Configuracin de Proteccin Wi-Fi (WPS) pueden ayudarte a crear fcilmente un red segura. Puede usar una entrada de PIN o PBC para configurar
su red.
Nota: Si ha configurado la cifra en su ruteador, cuando usted utiliza
el WPS por favor configure el tipo de autenticacin a Ninguno y ser
cifrado para el modo WPA2-AES automticamente. Si no quiere cambiar su
tipo de autenticacin, cuando usted utilice el WPS, el tipo de cifra que ha
configurado ser utilizado.

WPS Status (Estado WPS): Aqu puede activar y desactivar la capacidad

Generated PIN (PIN generado): Puede presionar este botn para generar

Wireless Host PIN Code (Cdigo PIN Inalmbrico): Si va con el PIN del
dispositivo de conexin inalmbrico, introduzca aqu y haga clic en el botn
de conexin.
WPS PBS Settings (Configuraciones WPS PBC): Este es efectivamente
in botn WPS interno.
WPS Configuration (Configuracin WPS): Informacin de la cifra
visualizada.
Si la conexin de dispositivos inalmbricos estn activando el WPS tambin,
puede utilizar los siguientes mtodos para conectar.
Mtodo 1: Botn

Mtodo 2: PIN
Seleccione este ruteador para una conexin en sus conexiones de red OS
o para la configuracin del adaptador inalmbrico.
Elija introducir el PIN del WPS del ruteador y proporcione el PIN del WPS
por defecto impreso en la etiqueta en la parte inferior del router. Este PIN
puede ser cambiado, y lo puede realizar y/o confirmar el PIN actual en la
interfaz de usuario del ruteador haga clic en Wireless Management AP
Setup WPS y ser capaz de ver el PIN del AP, as como generar uno
nuevo y guardarlo.
Alternativamente, puede elegir para utilizar el PIN del WPS proporcionado
por su adaptador inalmbrico e introducir en el ruteador en la misma part
de la interfaz del usuario haga clic en Wireless Management WPS e
introduzca el PIN del adaptador para el Wireless Host PIN Code.

4.3 Administracin de sistema

Este apartado incluye configuracin de contrasea, configuracin web,
actualizacin de firmware, reinicio, restaurar, WOL y tiempo del sistema.
4.4 Configuracin de contrasea
La contrasea y usuario predeterminados es: guest . Para asegurar una
adecuada seguridad en el ruteador, se sugiere cambiar la contrasea
predeterminada. Introduzca y confirme una nueva contrasea y gurdela.

4.5 Actualizacin
Si tiene una actualizacin ms actual, puede utilizar esta opcin para buscar
el archivo y actualizar el sistema.

4.6 Restaurar
Si presiona este botn, el ruteador borrar todos los parmetros previamente
modificados y regresar a los parmetros de fbrica.

1. Highlights
The Wireless N router has LAN and WAN ports, and allows you to create
a wired or wireless network (data transmission up to 300Mbps). It complies
with authentication and security standards, it includes a button in the front
panel to enable or disable the WPS function.

2.3. Hardware Installation Procedures

To set up the 300Mbps Wireless-N Broadband Router please refer to the
following picture:

Attach one end of an Ethernet cable to your computers Ethernet port, and
the other end to one of the LAN ports of your router.
Connect another Ethernet cable from your Cable/DSL modem to the WAN
port of your router.
Connect the single DC output connector of the power adapter to the power
jack on the back of the router and plug the Power Adapter into an AC outlet.

2.4. Restore to Factory Default

If the router ever freezes in a setting change process or if you cant access it
because you cant remember the IP you have given it or other problem, you
may have to utilize the reset button on the back of the router to put it back
to factory settings. You have to press and hold this button for a few seconds
(2-6s) with a pencil when it is working, then release and it will restore settings
to the factory configuration.
The other way to restore factory settings is through the same user interface
used in setup. Click on System management- Restore, and click on the
Restore button.

3. Configure Your Computer

You can manage the 300Mbps Wireless-N Broadband Router through the
Web browser-based configuration utility.
To configure the device via Web browser, at least one properly configured
computer must be connected to the device via Ethernet or wireless network.
The 300Mbps Wireless-N Broadband Router is configured with the default
IP address of 192.168.1.1 and subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and its DHCP
server is enabled by default. Before setting up the router, make sure your
computers are configured to obtain an IP address automatically from the
router by the steps below.

3.1 Configuration
3.1.1. Windows XP
1. Open My Computer on your desktop or through
the Start menu, right click on My Network Places
in the Other Places menu to the left and select
Properties. Right click on your Local Area
Connection in the window that appears and
select Properties.
2. In the properties window that appears, under
This connection uses the following items:
select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and then click
the Properties button below.
3. Choose Obtain an IP address automatically
and Obtain DNS server address automatically,
and then press OK to close the Internet Protocol
(TCP/IP) Properties window.
4. Press OK to close the Local Area Connection
Properties window.

1. Go to Start Control Panel.
2. Double click on Network and
Sharing Center.
3. Click on Manage Network
Connections.

4. Right click on the Local Area Connection

icon and select Properties.
5. Highlight Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/
IP) and then click on the Properties button.

6. Choose Obtain an IP address automatically

and Obtain DNS server address automatically,
and then press OK to close the Internet
Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window.

3.2. Checking Connection to Router

After configuring the TCP/IP protocol, use the ping command to verify if the
computer can communicate with the Router. To execute the ping command,
open the DOS window and Ping the IP address of the 300Mbps Wireless-N
Broadband Router at the DOS prompt:
For Windows 98/Me: Start Run. Type command and click OK.
For Windows 2000/XP: Start Run. Type cmd and click OK.
For Windows 7 Start Accessories Command Prompt
At the DOS prompt, type the following command: ping 192.168.1.1

3.3. Log In to Router Interface

Open a web browser (Safari, Internet Explorer, etc.) on the computer you
have just connected to the router, type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar,
and press enter.

In the pop-up window, enter the user name guest

and password guest and then click OK.

After you have logged in, the routers user interface will be
displayed. The left menu shows the main options to configure the system,
and the right screen is the summary information for viewing and adjusting
the configurations.

4. Router Setup
4.1. Internet Connection Settings
Most connections utilize a dynamic IP (DHCP) and the default is already set
to this. If you have another connection type (like static IP), you will need to
click on Convenient Setup in the menu and input information given you by
your service provider and then click save.

You may already be connected to the Internet. Click on System

Information- Internet access info to see if you have an IP, Gateway, etc
(refer to the following picture). If not, your service provider probably requires
you clone the MAC address of your computer to the router. To do so, click
on Internet Setup in the menu, then click on Clone MAC Address button
to get your computers MAC address and then click the Save button below.

If you are still not connected, or experience an erratic connection, your
modem may have the same IP as the router (192.168.1.1). You will need

will see this IP in the main interface. You may edit it to something different
(192.168.2.1 for example). After entering the new IP, click on Save below,
the router will reboot, and you will need to enter the user name and password
again. Check your system status for IP again, and test connection.
Note: You will need to enter the new IP in the browser to access the user
interface for any future setting changes.

4.2. WPS
Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) can help you create safe network easily. You
can use PIN input or Push Button Control (PBC) to set up your network.
Note: If you have configured encryption in your router, when you
use WPS please configure the authentication type to None and it will be
encrypted to WPA2-AES mode automatically. If you dont want to change
your authentication type, when you use WPS, the encryption type you have
configured will be utilized.

WPS Status: You can enable or disable WPS capability here.

AP PIN Code: This is the PIN code currently used by the router.
Generated PIN: You can press this button to generate a new PIN code
for the router.
Wireless Host PIN Code: If going with the PIN of wireless device
connecting, enter here and click the connect button.
WPS PBC Settings: This is effectively an internal WPS button.
WPS Configuration: Displays encryption information
If the connecting wireless device is also WPS enabled, you can use the
following methods to connect.
Method 1: Button
Push and hold WPS button on back of Router until WPS LED flashes.
Push WPS button on wireless network adapter and hold for about 3-5
seconds.
A safe connection will be established automatically in a moment.
The reverse pushing and holding WPS button on adapter briefly, then
pushing and holding WPS button on router briefly may also be utilized.
Method 2: PIN
Select this router for connection in your OS network connections or
wireless adapter software settings.
Choose to enter the WPS PIN of the router and provide default router
WPS PIN printed on label on bottom of router. This PIN may be changed
though, and you may do so/confirm current PIN in the routers user interface
click Wireless Management- AP Setup - WPS and you will be able to
see the AP PIN as well as generate a new one and save it.
Alternatively, you may choose to utilize a WPS PIN provided by your
wireless adapter and enter it in the router in the same part of the user
interface - click Wireless Management- WPS and enter adapter PIN for
Wireless Host PIN Code.

4.2 System Management

System management includes password setup, web setup, firmware upgrade,
reboot, restore, WOL and system time.
4.3 Password Setup
The default user name/password is guest/guest. To ensure the Routers
security, it is suggested that you change the default password to one of your
choice. Enter and confirm a new password, and save it.

4.4. Upgrade
If you have downloaded a new firmware version, you may browse to select
it here, then click on the upgrade button to start the process. Do turn off the
power during the process of upgrading firmware.

4.5. Restore
If you click the restore button, the Router will erase all of your settings and
replace them with the factory defaults.
