Lecturer in a variety of university courses in fish ecology and morphology, population ecology,
experimental design and statistics GU, 1999-2002. Have given lectures in fisheries ecology, gear
technology and fisheries management for various university courses hosted by Gothenburg
University, Stockholm University and Gotland University during 2003-2012.
Supervision of students: 3 master students, 2 honour students. Ass. supervisor for one PhD
student (Sara Hornborg, Gothenburg University).
Commissions
Scientific review tasks for Marine Ecology Progress Series, Marine Biology, ICES Journal of
Marine Science and Fisheries Research.
Membership in professional bodies
Swedish representative in ICES-FAO Working Group on Fishing Technology and
Fish Behaviour (WGFTFB), since 2002. Member of Fisheries Technology Committee (ICES).
Occasional cooperation in other ICES expert groups. Regular work in expert groups (SGRST,
SGMOS) within Scientific, Technical and Economic Committee for Fisheries (STECF) reporting to

the European commission/ DG MARE. Invited expert in RACs (North Sea and Baltic). Expert in
EU/Norway fisheries management working groups.
