Years in service: 4 years
Testimony
Im Duke Dilbert ex employee of dreamy delights. Im in a living nightmare at work right now. There
Ive been with business for 4 years and Ive seen a lot of unfair behavior on their behalf. Ive heard them
lie to customers and lie to employees; Ive seen them cheat the government when paying taxes; Ive
watched them bully employees into not filing reports when hurt on the job. This is just what Ive actually
seen. Im sure there is a lot of nastiness going on that is hidden. After watching this for 4 years, Ive
decided to hand in my 2 weeks notice. Ive found another job that Im very excited about and all I have
to do is get through the next week and a half. The problem is, I have a feeling that something is up with
my ex-boss. Theyve asked me not to tell anyone else in the company that Ive resigned. I do a lot of
work for the Sales Manager and he counts on me. I know he would be very upset to just find out Im
gone. No notice. I told them that I would rather tell him and sooner, rather than later. They said they
would think about it and come back to me with a day. I cant put my finger on what theyre trying to do
here but I know theyre upset that Im leaving. They havent said theyre upset but I know that my
leaving will affect the company. I was a very good worker for them and they relied on me for a lot. Their
behavior has been so dishonest with so many other people and they are very vengeful people, especially
when they think theyve been wronged. I just have warning bells going off but I cant figure out what
theyre trying to do. I have seen sales manager steals chocolates for several times. And Ive confronted
him for stealing chocolates from Dreamy. In late August 2013, management was made aware by another
employee that the sales manager had been seen stealing the chocolates into a container and putting it into
his bag. Subsequently, the sales manager was searched by security as he was leaving work. When
confronted about the container, the sales manager said that he had brought it for sampling purpose. After
deliberating all of the facts, the management concluded that whilst the chocolate was provided to
employees for use at work, and as such consumption for personal reasons outside of work would

represent misuse and hence misconduct, the evidence clearly indicated that the worker was using the
Chocolate for the purpose for which it was not intended. Sales manager proved himself as innocent. As
day passes, sales manager chooses sales function, as it is known that in this environment performance
targets are widely used. To be of practical value, performance targets were set higher for me within a
wider framework of the organizations performance. Sales manager stress the fact that performance
targets are key mechanisms for performance measurements and incentive measurements. He who use of
performance targets can be detrimental for organizations as he generate stressful work environments, a
low trust culture, data manipulation and financial performance losses. Calculating this will give you an
idea of what you can reasonably expect an average rep to generate in terms of revenue. Even more
important, I get a handle on the enormous differences in performance that sales manager likely to see.
Instead, when sales manager setting targets, need to look at whether they're realistic given to me. And the
sales manager wanted to boost my revenue by 20%, and would it take to make up for the resulting loss in
revenue and boost the total by 20%? This analysis will give the information needed to decide whether to
scale back the target or, as per the next point, to ramp up the target. After Ive completed the above, sales
manager have an idea of the revenue targets that I can achieve. The number is lower than they expect, so
I have decided to QUIT.
