GRACE NEWS
THE SEASON OF THE CROSS: WEEK 5
"Almighty God, grant Your people grace to love what You command and
desire what You promise; that, among the swift and varied changes of the
world, our hearts may surely there be fixed where true joys are to be found;
through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy
Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen" (Book of Common Prayer).
GATHERING AT GRACE
Tonight following the evening worship service is "Gathering at Grace" in
the Family Life Center. Bring finger foods and drinks and let's have a great
time together.
GRACE FAMILY DAY
Next Sunday, March 29, is our annual Family Day! Following the morning
worship service, a family picnic will be provided and the kids will enjoy an
egg hunt! Candy donations are still needed. Grace helpers will stuff candy
in the eggs on Tuesday at 10am here at the church! Contact the church
office for more information! needed!
KIDS' MISSIONS FUN SHEET
Stop by the Connection Center and pick up a fun sheet that informs and
encourages our kids to learn about world evangelism and our missionaries!
LADIES OF GRACE
Ladies of Grace...Are you ready to get a little artsy? Join us on Saturday,
April 18th at 5pm in the FLC for a "Paint Party". No experience necessary!
A professional artist from The Creator's Canvas will be teaching us step by
step instructions to paint our own masterpiece with a Christian theme! The
event cost is $30 per person (this includes your approximately four hour
lesson, canvas, all paint and supplies needed). Please register and pay fee at
the Connection Center before Sunday, April 12. Invite a friend to come
with you and bring snacks to share! See Halisha Sturm with any questions.
CHILDREN'S TALENT
Each year, the East TN District Children's Ministries host a talent competition. This year, we will go to Knoxville First Church on April 18! If your
child(ren) are interested in sharing their talents, then please see Jacob &
Rhea Ward. Forms and information are available at the Connections Center and online at www.etnazsdmi.com!
PRIMETIME MINISTRIES LUNCH
Our Prime Time group meets for lunch at the Mountain City Cafe. Everyone age 55+ are invited to meet on Tuesday, April 14, 1:30pm.
