1. History
What is today a major corporation that exports its products around the
world began life since 1948 in East Java. Over the last fifty years the company has
grown from a small home industry become the market leader (market leader)
which employs thousands of people with factories located in Jakarta and
Surabaya. Wings has grown to become one of Indonesia's well-known brands.
Wings products such as toilet soap, powders and bar detergents, floor
cleaners, fabric softener, and a bandage to market in Indonesia and surrounding
areas. While the third plant P.T. Lionindo Jaya built in Jakarta together with Lion
Corporation of Japan to produce brands such as Emeron, Page One, Ciptadent,
and Mama. Their products including shampoo, shower gel, skin care products,
toothpaste, and dishwashing liquid. After five years, this brand managed to
capture a significant market share in Indonesia.
Soon other cleaning products were introduced and distribution channels
were established across Indonesia. The next few decades saw Wings steadily
expand its product lines and now produces and sell hundreds of SKUs of
household, personal care and food products.
Today, Wings is recognized as a leading local manufacturer and distributor of
household and personal care products. Blending local knowledge and advanced
manufacturing technologies, Wings is still dedicated to company's vision of
providing quality products at affordable prices.
Then Wings expand its business vertically and horizontally, even to other
sectors such as building materials. By staying grounded in the philosophy of "To
Produce Quality and Affordibility at the Convenience of our customers." Since
1948 Wings have been in production, although very simple to use coconut oil for
soap manufacture, and sell from door to door. Furthermore WINGS produce
hundreds of household cleaning products, from toothpaste and shampoo,
detergents and cleaners for porcelain. Not only that they also employ thousands of
people in dozens of manufacturing plants and distribution centers throughout
Indonesia. The main brands such as Economics, Soklin, and GIV is known as a
very good product and quality. With its strength, WINGS trying to expand by
exporting products to several countries in the world, from Nigeria to the
Philippines. Wings have invested both upstream and downstream integration.
Making it possible for them consistently produce quality products at a lower cost
in the form of a lower selling price than its competitors.
With the PT-wing flag Mas Utama, PT Wings Surya and PT Lioninda Jaya, dozens
of output product business group headquartered in the City This crocodile, already
