Objectives:
At the end of 60 minute period the students must be able to attain
80%
mastery of the following skills;
A. identify how to form comparison of modifiers;
B. make use of the rules to form their comparisons on adjectives.

184-186

Procedure:
A. Daily Routine

B. Review
1. Review of the past lesson about the definition of adjectives.
C. Motivation
Call two students and ask them to stand in front of the class. Ask the
students to give adjectives that can describe both of them.
D. Lesson Proper
We can show the degree or extent to which one noun has a quality by
comparing it with one another noun which has the same quality. For
instance:
This light is brighter than that one
There are three degrees of comparison: positive, comparative and
superlative. Notice how the forms modifiers change to show
comparison.

E. Generalization
There are different ways to form the comparative and superlative form of
adjective. In regular adjective we just need to add er, -est, more and
most. But in irregular adjectives we need to remember their superlative
and comparative form.
