1. Am I really prepared to teach?

This is an everyday question for me and the answer is If I doing well, I am at

my best and still have the passion in teaching, I am ready to teach.
Spending everyday life working as a teacher is really handful. Walking up
early preparing for work, I always ask this to myself Am I ready? While checking
my Daily Lesson Logs for a week lesson and activities, I realized I didnt spent much
of a time for myself, researching for lessons and modules that will coincide in the
Curriculum Guide that is in the DepEd website. Finding activities that would be fun
and exciting for the students and doing an extra time preparing for a good slide
show presentation of lesson/s. And at work, preparing the Computer Room every
period, giving the days lecture and giving activities, assisting the students if their
computer will not function normally and make the environment joyful as much as
possible . Aside from this I also assigned in encoding the school reports. And at the
end of the day, the same question will arise, Am ready to teach for tomorrow? So I
opened my computer and start preparing for tomorrows lesson or add activities.
Then one day I realize, can I do profession as a lifetime job? Or left this profession
and find for an easy one. While thinking if I will resign for my job or not, one of my
graduated came by to my office and said Sir, I have taken up BSIT in my College,
thank you sir by the way in teaching us the foundation in learning web development
and hardware servicing we (they were three of them in the same course in one
class) may not be the best class at least we can keep the pace. That is why I took
up education units for me to have a chance to take the Licensure exam for
Teachers, not because of having a chance to get a permanent position but to
understand
further
what
is
to
be
an
educator.
Teaching is not an easy task, this is a noble profession and you have to take
this seriously, to love it and dedicate yourself into this profession.

2. This day I fully realized that I am really meant for the teaching profession
because for 3 years I did not resign or stop being an educator.
And I
believed that teaching is a noble and important profession and is an element
of change for the society. And by this I will accept the challenge in improving
myself always and dedicate myself in teaching and being a second parent
and keep on supporting them as they grow and graduate to be a welldeveloped and will have an important part of the society.
3. After analyzing the schools vision and mission and goals of Cotabato City
National High School - Main Campus, I realized that this school is an
institution of love, responsible, respectful and competitive school. The school
is learner-centered, that is focused on the learners to draw their potentials
and be competitive. Invoking the rights of the Filipino students to be nurtured
not only in academics also in manners and respect from every individuals.
With regards to this teachers in this school must be really competitive and
compassionate with regards to the students and dedicated to teach the
students at their fullest for its vision and mission to be realized..
