Unit 1 Practice Quiz

Questions 1-3 are from one of the glossaries for unit 1. Questions 4-6 are from the
PowerPoint lecture, Human Impact on the Biosphere. Questions 7-9 are from the
study guide, part 1 and question 10 is from the video guide, the Earth Report.

This is a good representation of the types of questions that you will encounter on
the tests and final examination. You can expect about forty to forty five questions
on the first test plus three to five Yahoo readings extra credit questions.

The sources of the questions will typically come from (1) glossaries (matching); (2)
PPP lectures (T/F and multiple choices); (3) the study guides; and (4) the video
guides. They’ll be weighted in about the same ratios as the 10 questions that follow.
