The whey protein isolate used in Max Whey Isolate is manufactured by a gentle cold processed cross-flow,
ultra-filtration and advanced microfiltration process. This modern and advanced purification process produces
over 99% non-denatured amino acids which yields more intact whey protein fractions rich in
beta-lactoglobulins, alpha-lactoglobulins, serum albumin, lactoferrin and bioactive peptides with many biological
health benefits.
Whey protein isolate contains a superior amino acid profile, are highly
soluble in liquids and have a rapid absorption rate. In fact, since the protein
is already pre-digested and primarily in the peptide form, these fractions are
absorbed and assimilated rapidly, usually less than 1-1/2 hours after
ingestion (dependent on many physiological factors).
Whey protein isolate is a complete protein containing all nine of the essential
amino acids including the branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs). BCAAs
consist of leucine, valine and isoleucine which are readily oxidized as an
energy source during stress, promoting muscle protein synthesis and growth
and may help delay fatigue during endurance exercise. Max Whey Isolate
delivers 5g total BCAAs per serving including 2.34g leucine. Leucine is a
powerful stimulator of skeletal muscle protein synthesis mediated through a
series of molecular biology interactions called the mammalian target of
rapamycin (mTOR) signaling pathway in addition to minimizing protein
breakdown. Both processes are essential for muscle recovery after exercise.
Max Whey Isolates non-denatured whey protein isolate contains bioactive
precursors enhancing the production of intracellular glutathione by supplying
cells with the dipeptides cysteine and glutamylcysteine. Glutathione
enhances immune function, eliminates toxins and carcinogens and functions
as a powerful antioxidant and detoxifying agent. Whey protein is digested
into simple soluble amino acids which are distributed throughout the body
and serve as building blocks for muscles, bones, cartilage, skin and blood.
