Plant Particulars

The HV cable box is a dry termination enclosure designed in open back style, suitable for
mounting over the Mekufa HV bushing on ground mounted distribution transformers for use
on the 11kV and 6.6kV LPN, EPN and SPN distribution networks.
The cable box gland plate is supplied with an integral welded tube 88.75mm inside diameter.
The gland plate has a welded-on MS through earth stud.
The box is supplied complete with the flange gasket.
The paint system has been modified to suit all three areas and future cable boxes will be
painted to the Webster Wilkinson C4 paint system suitable for urban, industrial and coastal
areas with moderate salinity with a dark admiralty grey top coat.
Future cable boxes will also be supplied complete with four anti-vandal nuts which were
previously supplied on EPN and SPN cable boxes only.
