Health is the status of the body wherein there is a balance between the physiological,
mental and emotional being of man. It doesnt merely mean the absence of illness.
There is a conflict in the idea that a person is healthy if he/she doesnt have illness.
Health can be measured by the persons capacity to do everyday tasks properly,
possess a well-positive thinking over conditions of everyday life and interact with people
harmoniously.
Absence of disease doesnt mean the person is healthy. If a man/woman is free from
illness but has an agitated and disturbed mind, he/she is still unhealthy. For us to be
able to be considered as healthy individual, we must possess a healthy lifestyle, a
healthy social interaction with others and a healthy mind. Practice a well-balanced diet,
have a regular exercise and enough sleep. Be stress free; learn how to manage stress
of daily life. And most of all have a good relationship with God. Spiritual well-being is
conducive in achieving over-all health.
