1. Insert the DVD-ROM into the drive.
2. The program should start automatically within several seconds. If it does not, double-click the
"NRP 2011" icon on your desktop. The program is also accessible via the Start menu.
Be sure to check out the Help section for details and tips on using the program.
QUICKTIME
QuickTime is software that allows your computer to play videos. NRP can install it on your
computer. On most computers, the QuickTime installation is quick and easy, and you will
usually not have to reboot. The CD-ROM contains a full QuickTime installer that does not
require an Internet connection. The program will alert you if your computer does not have the
latest version of QuickTime, and allow you to install it automatically. The program will allow you
to run with an older version, but the older the version the more likely you are to experience
difficulties viewing videos.

UNINSTALLING AND REINSTALLING

NOTE: When removing this software, always use the uninstaller. This can be accessed either
through the START Menu under Programs/American Academy of Pediatrics/Neonatal
Resuscitation Program 2011/Uninstall NRP2011, or through the Add/Remove Programs Control
Panel (START / Settings / Control Panel / Add/Remove Programs / Install/Uninstall tab).
If you try to uninstall simply by dragging the installed folder, or the files inside, to the Recycle
Bin, you may have difficulty reinstalling. In this case, go to START / Run, type "D:\Setup.exe"
(without the quotes), where D is the letter of your DVD-ROM drive. Click OK. The installer will
run, allowing you to reinstall NRP.
