Event Details

The Symposium will be conducted for two days and has numerous technical
events to demonstrate your knowledge and expertise. Apart from this there are
numerous fun-filled activities to break away from the rigors of the academic
schedule. The following events will be held

RULES FOR PAPER PRESENTATION:


Maximum of two authors are allowed per paper and registration fee is 300/- per author.
Full paper along with abstract should be mailed to us at anits.arc.eee@gmail.com
Accomadition will be provided to all participants.

** Violation of any rules will lead to the rejection of papers.

" It is not necessary to send the paper in IEEE format"

MODEL PRESENTATION:
1.

Students need to bring their pre-prepared working model and


explain its operation and other information about the model.

2. A maximum of 3 to 4 members per model are allowed per model.

ENSEMBLE:
Resources are given to participants and model is shown for few minutes.
Participants should prepare this model in given time.

TECHNICAL QUIZ
The teams as to go through a test to qualify for the technical quiz. Quiz
consists of 3 rounds.

PHOTOGRAPHY/SHORT FILM
PHOTOGRAPHY: The theme will be given at college permises itself.
SHORT FILM: It should be minimum of 20 minutes amd message
oriented.

ROBO - TRACTION:
Problem statement:
Participants are required to design their bot and drive it under
the potential difference of 230volts maintained between two
aluminium sheets separated by a distance.
Bot specifications:
1. Fit a box of dimensions 40 cm 30 cm 35cm (lbh)

without remote control or conducting rods.


2. No restriction for transformer used for step down
3. Must not be made from logo parts or any ready made
assemble kits.
4. Use only ready made base plates and wheels.
5. Remote control (onle wire connected should be used)
ofthe bot shpuld draw supply from track itself.
6. Only DC motors are allowed. No restriction on motors
used.
Round1:
1. Should push the different blocks of various colours on
the arena in to holes of respective colours in the given
time.
2. If boot falls in the arena more than three times, then
that group is disqualified.
Round 2:
1. Will be given a block to be protected and should push
the block of opposite team into specified hole in given
time.
2. Spring ball of 3cm diameter is given to throw on the
opposite bot for every 15 seconds.
Final round::
This round is same as round 2 and also uses any kind of
weaponry which is not flammable.
Rules and regulations:
1. Any external power supply is prohibited.
2. One member in group is allowed to drive the bot.
3. Event manager is not responsible for short circuits
4. Only 4 to 5 members are allowed in group.
