Nowadays, there is a hot topic upon the subject of borrowing

money from a friend can actually damage the friendship. Some
claim that friends are made helping each other, while others
state that any friendship ends when it comes to money. I am
inclined to believe that borrowing money from someone close to
you can indeed do more harm than good.
Firstly, one cannot deny that strong and long-lasting friendships
are always based on trust and honesty. No true friendship has
ever worked without these two qualities coming from both
partners. If someone wanted a real friend, then he or she would
have to develop not only a deep sense of sincerity,but also a
profound sense of reliability. Thus, in this case money is said to
interfere in the worst way possible. Borrowing money from a
friend is not actually a bad thing, but the actions that follow
make it worse. Not bieng able to return the money for no matter
what reason, makes you an unreliable person and therefore an
untrustworthy friend. For instance, when I was in highschool I
used to have one friend that constantly asked me for money in
order to buy his lunch. He kept promised me that I would get
my money back but this has never happened. As a
consequence, because of this bad habit the other colleagues
started avoiding him and as a result he stopped having any
friends around.
Secondly, there is no argue agaisnt the fact that the simple act
of borrowing money to someone can make a huge difference in
a persons attitude or personality. There are numerous people
who have tried to depend on their friends. More precisely, if it
works one time borrowing from John, why should not this work
twice or three time? Consequently, taking advantage of
someones kindness and transforming him or her into a sponsor
means that you are no longer a friend in need. Hence,
borrowing money can also mean altering a previous friend into
a real burden that is only interested in your money and not in

your relationship anymore. Such persons only contribute to your

decrease on both financial and human levels.
However, there is a vast majority of people which claims that
the first purpose of any friendship is to provide help whenever
someone is in need. As a matter of fact, being able to offer
financial aid to a friend without even thinking of receiving the
emoney back is said to represent compassion and love for your
partner. Moreover, these people point out that money should
not even count in a real friendship and it ought to be shared
whenever possible.
Summing up, I truly consider that money has played a major
role in every friendship so far. Even if we like to pretend not to
be so, everything tends to go smoothly until it comes to money.
Not only does it affect our everyday lives, but it also manages
somehow
to estroy even the most powerful and intense
friendships.

Essay 2
Nowadays, there is a hot topic upon the subject of people living
longer these days. Some people claim that times are little bit
smoother now than in the past, while others state that life
expectancy has increased due to some improvents in specific
domains of work. I am inclined to believe that the latter cause is
more appropiate, for there are several reasons.
Firstly, one cannot deny that with the help of huge
developments in the field of medecine fewer people are dying
today because of illnesses that used to kill plenty of societies
hundreds of years ago. There are cures for almost any disease
and fortunately almost everybody has free access to them.
Cancer, tuberculosis, malaria and many other illnesses are
nowadays just a matter of time until the treatment starts doing
its work in the human body. Not only are they discovered from
early time, but in most cases people return to their normal lives
once the treatment is over. For instance, two years ago my
grandma was said to suffer from breast cancer, fact that scared
me terribily, thinking that I might lose her. Eventually, doctors
helped her find the best cure for her disease and in a matter of
a few months my grandmother was perfectly healthy and
relieved from the thought that she might lose her life from this
frequent sickness.
Secondly, there is no argue against the fact that today lifes
conditions have improved dramatically. People no longer live in
unsanitary environments, thing that might put their lives at risk.
Most of them have access to facilities such as electricity, water
systems, road systems, aspect that has increased their lives

quality. Not only do they manage to maintain a decent life, but

they can also enjoy themselves with the numerous
opportunities that this world continues to offer them every
single day. In these times, individuals are also given the chance
to attend school, to learn about the real world and thus
becoming useful human beings for the society.
However, a vast majority of people points out that even if today
the world is more developed and it has more resources that can
help people living longer, there are still some despondent
aspects. With the high levels of pollution, stress and continual
sadness that is so prevalent in the entire world, what is the use
of living longer? These people observe that in the past even if
the population were living simpler and shorter, they were
happier and more grateful for what they had. Thus, to these
people it seems that there are too many complications and
things that makes us forgive the real purpose of life, that of
living happily and not longer, but sadly.
Summing up, I truly consider that certain improvements in
specific fields have definitely played a major role in the
increased life expectancy of our times. Not only have they
provided a more acceaptable background for the following
generations, but they also handled succesfully some perilous
patterns of the past.

Essay 3
Nowadays,there is a hot topic upon the subject of students
being assigned daily homework. While some people agree with
this method, there are others who totally deny this thing as
being necessary for students. I am inclined to believe that daily
homework does not represent a factor for the academic results
of students. Therefore, I find this method wanton , for there are
several reasons.
Firstly, one cannot deny that the thought of constantly going
home and starting your homework for the next school day can
become extremely frustrating and depressing for most
students. After one full day of classes of no matter what subject,
going home and also spending on average other 3 hours on
homework can be a real burden for so many students. Thus, I
think it is more useful and agreeable for pupils to be assigned a
larger and a more intricate homework once a week, for
instance. Not only would they have to concentrate more, but
they would also have to include the whole range of notions that
have been taught during the week.
Secondly, there is no argue against the fact that students often
want to enjoy their youth, to experience as much as possible
and most important they want to have fun. Moreover, they need

time to be young and restless and to feel this time of their

life that will never come back. Even so, an ordinary students
life seems so tiring and boring that a great majority of pupils
tends to start lacking interest in learning. They get bored and
the only thing a pupil wants to do after an usual school day
would be to enjoy his or her free time. Whether they play an
instrument or practise a sport, students only want to get away
from school for the rest of the day. As a consequence, there is
no use in stealing the most beautiful part of a students life. It is
more important for them now to be given understanding, rather
that altering them in some angry and deceitful individuals. For
example, if I were in such a situation I would not know how to
handle it. From a cheerful student with exceptional academic
results, if I were given daily homework I would turn myself into
a disgusted and frustrated student.
However, there is still a vast majority of people that claims to
have specific reason for which daily homework is so important.
They point out that a students must not lose its focus on the
information provides during lectures. Also, a student must know
how to balance studying time with free time in order not to lose
his or her concentration. Consequently, for this type of people
daily homework appears to bring more good than harm.
Summing up, I consider that there is no use in assigning
students loads of work at home, as the consistent desire of
improving and learning is not seen in the papers brought on the
deadline. But, it is seen in the capacity of a student to make
connections and to give an answer right at the moment of
speaking.

Essay 4
Nowadays, there is a hot topic upon the subject of people
inventing something new, something that would make a
differenece in the world. While some would choose to build
something useful for their houses, others would choose to build
something for their cars. If I were put in such a position, I would
definitely choose to build something for the population.
I would construct an afordable watch that has a hologram
incorporated. The purpouse of this particular hologram would
be to stay a permanent friend, a motivation and a support for
everybody.
Firstly, one cannot deny that the loss of a beloved person is for
certain a heavy burden for anyone. Wether someone got to
spend more or less time around that person, it would definitely
have an impact on anyones life. Thus, feelings such as
sadness, frustration or even anger may appear. Consequently,

during the recovery of the loss suffered I think it is important to

have someone showing you the full side of the glass. Most
people need someone or something to keep their thought away
from that topic. As a result, I am confident that a hologram
created by the owner can improve his or her life at least for a
period of time.
Secondly, there is no argue against the fact that a great
majority of people seem to lack motivation or support from
others. There are such people that cannot get something done
unless they are constantly pushed into that direction. Moreover,
there are people who give up after the first hurdle and thus they
are not able to accomplish any goal in their entire life.
Therefore, a hologram that represents a tutor or a mentor can
eventually play a major role in someones life. Not only would it
always be close to a person, but it would also provide the
necessay encouragement and support for an individual in need.
For instance, if one pupil were orphan and he did not have
someone to talk to or hear nice words from, then a hologram
would try to take the place of his parents.
In addition, it is sensless to say that such an innovation would
also have an impact on the technological era. From producing
robots to actually being able to virtually recreate persons this
would unquestionably represent a tremendous evolution for the
mankind.
Summing up, I consider that even if there might be plenty of
invenions needed on this planet, such a hologram would exceed
anybodys expectations. Not ony would it become so popular
among every person, but it would definitely manage to bring a
sense of love and affection for the people in need.
