Stephen Ministry
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive
mercy.
Matthew 5:10
Mercy does not stop with a feeling of compassion or
sadness when someone is experiencing dire straits. Mercy
means identifying with those who are hurting, feeling what
they feel, understanding their misery, and then helping
them! Stephen Ministers are caring Christian friends who
listen, understand, accept and pray for and with care
receivers.
John and Amy Hollister and Karen Todd are training to
become Stephen Ministers, and will be commissioned on
April 19th. Please keep those who are in training, as well as
all Stephen Ministers and care receivers in your prayers!
