The Bowlins certainly had a Merry Christmas ^ tiiaiiks to vou our

dear friends. We received enough special gifts to pay off our bills
at the grocery and drug stores? also enough personal gift checks
that we were able to buy gifts for the children and a turkey with all
the trimmings for our Christmas dinner. Thank you each one

p. S, Most of you know I dislike "crisis" appeals for funds and wish
to avoid a repetition of our Christmas appeal to pay our grocery and

drug bills*

In order to do

so

we meed $100.00 additional monthly

pledged living-link (personal) support for the Bowlin family. ^(I

realize budgets are set up in the Fall, but perhaps some additional
Mission funds are available.)

Will each of you ask your Missionary

Committee, your class, youth or V/omen's group to pledge something

jponthly to the Bow] ins?

YOU do it.

Please don't expect someone else to do this ^

Remember, "Everone's job is no one's

'-b."

Of course

if you can personally pledge, please do so--no amount' is too small.

Please send through your church Treasure if possible. Thanks....GDB

Dear Friends:

EXCITING EVENTS ARE TAKING PLACE IN WESTERN P-ISXICO TODAY:

A young ex-c-tholic, Augustinian monk from South America recently

spoke^four ovonings here in our congregations.

Attendance at one

location topped 200, with people spilling out into the street and
listening attentively over loudspea.kers. Many stayed afterwards
to ask questions.

Four young girls made the^giodd-confession and

one woman came forward

for redidication of her life.

Contributions have recently enabled us tcL.,jcnQf

Now we finally have everything, the

C one spot. (Not to mention our home, v/hich is THE

Final preparations are being made for some 400-500 children and
youth in
9 mSchoo 1s in three locations here
in the City and three villages^n^'his county. The theme will
be: "The Lord is My Shepherd."

Some may remember EmX^uueChaires.

A village w o r k , t h a t had been closed for over ten

years due to se-vere" persecution of the Christians, most of v/hom,

through fear, moved away, has. opened again with-at-tend&nce_aYerag3Q persons on a week n i g h t . "

More and more homes in our neighborhood are opening to a Gospel

v/itness; many due to Geneva's trusty hyperdermic needle.

These

are young professionals--doctors, lawyers, ranch and business

managers, college professors, dentists, etc,the cream of the crop.

Yes, exciting events are taking place in Western Mexico. AREN'T
