CROCHET HOOK
6.00mm (no 4) (US J10) crochet hook
4.00mm (no 8) (US G6) crochet hook
TENSION
11 sts and 12 rows to 10 cm measured over dc patt using
6.00mm (no 4) (US J10) crochet hook.
FINISHED SIZE
Completed basket measures 17 cm in diameter and 5 cm in
depth (not inc handle).
Motif A measures 5 cm in diameter, motif B measures 5 cm
in diameter.

make 8 ch and join with a ss to form a ring.
Round 1: 3 ch (counts as 1 tr), 1 tr into ring (6 ch, 3 tr into
ring) 5 times, 6 ch, 1 tr into ring, ss to top of 3 ch.

Using 6.00mm (no 4) (US J10) crochet hook and yarn A, Round 2: * 1 ch, (1 dc, 1 htr, 7 tr, 1 htr, 1 dc) into next 6 ch

Leaves (make 2)
Using 4.00mm (no 8) (US G6) crochet hook and yarn C,
make 40 ch, turn.
Next row: 1 dc into 2nd ch from hook, *2 dc into next ch,
1 dc into next ch, rep from * to end.
Fasten off.
MAKING UP
Using photograph as a guide sew motif B to motif A and
attach button to centre of motif B.
Sew leaves to reverse of motif A and attach to base of handle.
Sew in any loose ends.
