Digital Timer Switch

Functions
1. The Digital Timer Switch allows you to preset specific on/off time of the connected electrical appliance, especially
lighting. It is ideal for home automation, energy saving and home security
2. Simply press the switch cover can override preset programs and switch on/off the appliance manually
3. It allows a maximum of 70 on/off programs per week
4. With countdown, random and summer time functions

Week & Time Setting


1. When LCD is in CLOCK display, press SET button, week display flashes, setting can be started
2. Chose the correct weekday by pressing [ ] or [ ] button:
- [ ]: to increase week display from MoTu We Th Fr Sa Su
- [ ]: to reduce week display from MoTu WeTh Fr Sa Su
3. When the desired day appears on the LCD, press SET button to confirm
4. Hour display then flashes, press [ ] or [ ] button to chose the correct hour and press SET to confirm
5. After setting hour, minute display flashes, press [ ] or [ ] button to chose the correct minute and press SET to
confirm
C. Programs Setting
1. When LCD is in CLOCK display, press P button, 1

(program group and on/off status) and PROGRAM is

shown, the displayed symbol have the following meaning:


i. Numbers : indicates program groups number (from 1 to 10)
ii.:

: indicates power on in the program

iii.
: indicates power off in the program
iv. PROGRAM : LCD display is in program setting mode
2. To chose the program group and on/off status:
- press [ ]to increase the program groups number and on/off status, e.g.

- press [ ] to reduce the program groups number and on/off status, e.g.

3. Press SET to confirm when LCD displays your desired program group and on/off status.

4. Week display flashes for setting week pattern. By pressing [ ] button, the LCD will display the following in
sequence:
i.

ii.
MoTuWeThFrSaSu program set is effective under that specific day
iii. Mo Tu We Th Fr
program set is effective from Monday to Friday
iv. Sa Su
program set is effective from Saturday to Sunday

program set is effective on Monday, Wednesday and Friday only
vii. Tu Th Sa
program set is effective on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday only

program set is effective from Monday to Wednesday
ix. Th Fr Sa
program set is effective from Thursday to Saturday
When pressing [ ] button, the week pattern display is shown in opposite sequence.
5. When LCD displays the desired week pattern, press SET to confirm
6. Then, hour display flashes, press [ ] or [ ] button to chose the correct hour and press SET to confirm
7. Minute display flashes, press [ ] or [ ] button to chose the correct minute and press SET to confirm
8. For setting other program groups or to change a preset program, repeat procedures #2 to #7 as mentioned above.
Noted:
a.

Press SET to start setting, hour display flashes
Press [ ] or [ ] button to chose the correct hour and press SET to confirm
Minute display then flashes, press [ ] or [ ] button to chose the correct minute and press SET to confirm,
countdown period can be set from 1 minute to 99 hours 59 minutes

To start countdown program, LCD must be in CD mode, press ON/OFF button to start. CD flashes to indicate
countdown programs is running when LCD is in CLOCK display mode
To stop countdown program, press ON/OFF again. (This can be done when LCD is in CLOCK display)
When countdown program is activated, it overrides the preset programs and power remains on until countdown
finishes

E. Random Function Setting


1.

When LCD is in CLOCK display, press P button until RND is shown

Press ON/OFF button to start/stop random function


When random function is activated, RND flashes in CLOCK display mode

Example:
i) Preset program time is : 6:00PM

, 6:00AM

ii) When random function is on, power turns on in 16 - 24 minutes difference from 6:00PM and turns off in 24 42
minutes difference from 6:00AM
F. Other Functions
1. Manual Control:
Simply press the switch cover can control power on/off directly:

2. Summer Time:
In CLOCK display, press [ ] and [ ] buttons at the same time to go into summer time mode, clock and
program setting time runs one hour faster, S is shown on the LCD. Press both buttons again to resume non
summer time mode
3. Reset:
Press R button once to reset all programs.
4. 12/24hours display:
- After pressing R button, or after changing battery, 24 H is flashing, press [ ] to change to 12 hours display,
press [ ] to go back to 24 hours display and press SET to confirm

1. Preset your desired on/off programs on the Digital Timer Switch as mentioned above.

Switch off the main power supply in the room


Connect the Digital Timer Switch to the correspondence cables according to the diagram in Fig. 3
Install the Digital Timer Switchs base (Fig. 4) to the wall box and fix with screws
Fix the switchs cover plate (Fig 5) to the base(Fig. 4) with screws
Fix the Digital Timers cover (Fig. 6) to the switchs cover plate (Fig. 5) with screw
Switch on the main power supply, you can turn on/off the connected appliance manually or by program setting

H. Safety Precaution
1. Disconnect the power supply before changing fuse
2. The Digital Timer Switch is for indoor used only
3. Always check the voltage and frequency ratings matches the Digital Timer Switchs specification
4. The Digital Timer Switch is using 2x 1.5V button batteries, if there is no display on the LCD, change the batteries
at the back side of the Digital Timers cover (Fig. 6)
