Sight-Singing Collection
Your singers can ALREADY sight-sing...
...they just dont know it yet!
The
After studying the music of many of the finest composers, e.g., Palestrina, Bach,
CONCEPT Brahms, we found a surprising quantity of exquisite music written very simply
stepwise and diatonic: no skips, no accidentals. This was music that even beginning
readers could sight-sing AND ENJOY! However, rarely could we find such writing
for more than a few measures at a time.
The
PLAN

The
RESULT

With this as our inspiration, we set out to find composers who could write more
extensive compositions, while controlling the level of reading difficulty. Our objective
was to develop an abundance of excellent choral reading material for beginning,
intermediate, and even advanced sight-singers.
As a result of these efforts, the music we offer is not a series of boring, rambling, unison
exercises. It is sophisticated, stimulating, aesthetically fulfilling choral music,
organized in a logical progression that is sure to lead your choirs, enjoyably and
enthusiastically, to a mastery of sight-singing.

The
These pieces are FUN TO SING for choirs at all proficiency levels. Both beginners and
BENEFITS veteran readers will enjoy their interesting harmonies and varied rhythms. What's more,
these pieces provide sophisticated material for older students who need work on
basic solfeggio.
The absence of intervals beyond the singers current comfort level allows the exploration of more
complex rhythmic variety. Singers get the practice they need for pitches and intervals to become second
nature, while concentrating on the rhythms and experiencing the pleasure of choral sight-singing. This
approach takes the pain out of sight-reading practice. Some of our customers even report that they
find their choirs looking forward to this part of the rehearsal!
Sight-reading itself becomes a motivator, as these beautiful pieces give your singers a glimpse of the
future rewards that will come with the development of sight-singing skills.

Use these series as your sight-reading program, or to supplement an existing one.

Buy a complete series, or just the levels you need.
Use the lower levels to bolster confidence or just for sight-reading fun.
Use the upper levels for challenge and growth, or for contest preparation.

TRY IT OUT! Weve included samples from Volume 1 of each series on the following pages. Copy
them and try them out with your choirs.
Imagine how much rehearsal time YOU would save if YOUR choirs could sight-read!
(And imagine how much more fun rehearsals would be.)

If I knew I had eight hours to cut a tree, Id spend six of them sharpening the axe.

...I am absolutely pleased with your Music Theory for Choirs curriculum. It is concise but thorough and
presents even the rudimentary elements in a well thought out and sophisticated manner. It is exactly what I
have been looking for to assist in teaching my high school choral students for some time.

Exercises

200 Progressive Pentatonic Exercises follows the sequence of

the Kodly approach to sight-singing.

===============================

Beginning with Sol-Mi, students gradually build their sightreading skills to include the complete pentatonic scale. The
rhythmic content progresses similarly, beginning with the
quarter note, and gradually adding additional note values.

Because we tend to become key-bound if we spend too much

time working in a single key before moving to a new tonal
center, the author intentionally changes the position of Do
frequently. This volume also includes exercises centered on La
(for minor mode practice), as well as other modal centers.

Along with being very

sight-singing, another

benefit of starting with the
pentatonic scale is that the
five tones sound pleasant
when sung in harmony
with one another. As a result you will find that a number of the
exercises in this volume may be sung together as partner songs,
and some as rounds, offering an effective means for developing
vocal independence.

Volume

Description

Folk songs have long been recognized as ideal tools for

the teaching of sight-singing. All the rough edges have
been worn off by generation after generation passing
these songs on to their children.
Starting with the most basic interval (the minor third:
so-mi), Dr. Sanders has organized this collection of
170 folk songs into a gradual progression from songs
containing only these two notes through full pentatonic
songs by the end of Volume One. Volume Two adds fa,
then ti, and progresses to full diatonic songs, accidentals, and various modes.
Because singers start learning to read music at different
ages, this series is available in two editions: one with
song titles and lyrics for your younger students, and one
with just the music, for older students from middle
school on up. This wordless version is also more
compact, with more melodies per page, thus requiring
fewer pages to be copied. (See inset on next page.)

185 Unison Pentatonic Exercises

First Steps in Sight-Singing
according to the Kodly concept
by Denise Bacon
This volume is intended for early steps in sightsinging at any age level, child or adult. The
books overall purpose is to develop sightsinging skill and to build secure intonation by
use of short, easily mastered exercises, which
will give an increasing sense of accomplishment.
The exercises are organized first melodically,
then rhythmically.

Beginning with just So and Mi, this edition gradually

progresses to full pentatonic by first adding La, then
Do, etc. It offers the same185 exercises in both sol-fa
(stick) and standard staff notation. For the most part,
the easy keys of C, F, G pentatonic and their minor
tonalities have been chosen to give fluency in letter
names.
The exercises are purposely short and restricted to
the pentatonic scale because correct intonation can
better be achieved if semitones are postponed until
whole tone intervals are sung with sufficient
assurance and accuracy.

46 Two-Part
American Folk Songs
by Denise Bacon

Zoltn Kodly, whose achievement in raising the musical

literacy and taste of the children in his native country of
Hungary is well known, said that children can best learn to
sing in tune through two-part unaccompanied singing. This
was to be begun at a very early age, possibly even first
grade.

===============================

Reproducible

Out of the 27 pentatonic songs (or those of even fewer

notes) 22 have been kept in the pentatonic idiom, rather
than to suggest typical piano accompaniments through the
addition of the fourth or seventh steps somewhere in the
melodic line.

46
Two-Part
American
Folk Songs

This collection is offered in the hope of developing children's taste for a cappella singing. Even the simplest songs
are challenging. They are intended for classroom use, but
can also be used for elementary choruses.

FOR ELEMENTARY GRADES

arranged by
DENISE BACON

The songs appear in approximate order of difficulty. No

tempo marks or dynamics have been suggested, one reason
being that an uncluttered page will be easier for the young
reader, who, in his/her early years, is concerned mainly
with pitch and rhythm.

An exciting new approach to practicing rhythm

Hank Beebes

Happy Rap!
Your choir will thoroughly enjoy this break from the routine. You
dont even have to tell them that they are improving their rhythm
skills, as they challenge themselves to keep together in perfectly
unison speech, through humorous, miniature dramatic scenes in
which they become the characters.

Hank Beebes

Happy Rap!

Audiences will love this, too! Each composition is entertaining

enough and of sufficient duration to include in your concerts as a
novelty number.
The texts are little rhythmic encounters from everyday life. Hank
Beebes remarkable sense of humor shows through on every page.
Drawing on his over 40 years of writing musical comedy for
Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theatre and network television,
Hank has created in Happy Rap! an innovative, FUN approach to
practicing rhythm and improving rhythmic sight-singing skills.

You've Got Rhythm

A Complete Method for Reading Rhythms
by Anna Dembska and Joan Harkness

Read Music Better by Feeling the Beat

You've
Got
Rhythm

This series starts with basic notation, then, through over 150 pages,
progresses, step-by-step, to the most advanced rhythmic skills.
With elegance and humor, Youve Got Rhythm turns the frustration of
rhythm problems into an enjoyable musical and literary experience.

Youve Got Rhythm is just what Ive been looking for. At lasta method
that makes rhythm concrete! My students love it. Thank you! Thank you!

Youve Got Rhythm not only avoids boredom, but actually makes
rhythmic training fun!
Dr. Jon Ensminger, Piano Faculty, Northland College, Dunbar, WI

Joan Harkness

Youve Got Rhythm is the most innovative and logical approach to teaching rhythm Ive encountered. My
students enjoy the subtle humor in the texts and references to famous (and not-so-famous) composers. The
accessible layout makes the material fun and easy to use. The use of words instead of nonsense syllables
prepares students well for real sight-singing, and encourages accurate note length. This series will become
a regular part of my curriculum.

Great for sight-singing, warmups, and performance
Round singing is an effective and enjoyable way to
teach singers to sing independent parts. Rounds help
us hear vertically, so that participants can become
skilled harmonizers in no time.

This series was written for choirs that need a place from which to start
the sight-singing process. It is organized to parallel our Easy Rhythm
series (page 40), so that the two series could be used concurrently, if
desiredwarm up with Lets Get Started in unison, then move on to
the three- or four-part music of the Easy Rhythms series.
Each unison volume contains 300 exercises. Virtually all keys are covered.
This series is also useful as a tool to measure individual progress.
Boys with changing voices can sing any of the melodies in the lower half of
each page (Nos. 6-10). Those melodies stay safely within the cambiata
(changing voice) range. In the two-part editions (see pages 24-25), the top
part is consistently in the cambiata range, making it suitable for sopranos,
tenors, and/or changing voices.
Our cambiata version* (see below under Voicing) remains totally within
the cambiata range, with both treble and bass clefs represented on each page.

by Jerome Gries

Like its unison counterpart (see pages 22-23), this series was written
for choirs that need a place from which to start the sight-singing
process. Since every line is melodic, upper and lower parts could be
used separately as unison exercises until the group is ready to read in
two parts. This series can also serve as a stepping stone between
unison and standard choral voicings.
Each two-part volume contains 150 duets (or 300 unison exercises).
Virtually all keys are covered.
This series is also useful as a tool to measure individual progress.

Boys with changing voices can join in singing the upper voice part,
which stays consistently within the cambiata range throughout.
Both parts in these two-part editions employ moderate ranges, allowing
singers to switch parts and get twice the sight-singing practice.

MELODIA
A Course in Sight-Singing
In 200 pages, and over 1,500 one- and two-part melodious exercises, the authors lead the
student from the simplest of scales to the most complex music a choir is likely to encounter
in traditional music.

Many works on sight-singing have been

compiled and written for use in the public
schools. But the authors of MELODIA believe
that there is need of more and better graded
material The present work is an attempt to
meet this need. It represents the results of many
years experience, and is based on the belief
that, whatever the method of presenting the
elements of the subject, the surest road to
growth is through actual performance of a great
number of carefully graded tasks.
The first eighty pages, which are written
without skips primarily to develop a ready confidence, contain many and varied examples of
each of the conventional rhythm forms; and the
most deliberate progressiveness is maintained
in the introduction of new difficulties.

The Authors
The normal range of average voices is carefully observed. The two-part exercises are all
written so that they may be inverted, the bass part being sung by treble voices, and the treble
part by the men; or they may be sung by male voices only or by female voices only. Thus,
each two-part page represents two pages of actual practice material.
Now that this magnificent classic is in the public domain, Masterworks Press is able to bring
it to you in economical, reproducible formats.
Purchase the entire course, or just a section or two. With our reproducible masters, you can
make all the copies you want, year after year, without ever paying us another cent.
MELODIA FIRST SERIES consists of 424 melodies of gradually increasing
complexity that guide your choir through the sight-reading process, starting with simple
scales, and progressing to complex, diatonic, stepwise melodies.
Subsequent series develop reading skills further, methodically introducing chromatics,
intervals, rhythms and modulations.
Our publications fit on standard 8 x 11 inch paper and come in two sizes. (See pp. 26-27.)
For musical examples from each series, consult our website (www.MasterworksPress.com)
or call and ask for our Melodia Sampler.
Whether you use MELODIA as your primary method, or as a supplement to other methods,
youll find plenty of material suitable for any level of sight-reading development.

transcending both age and sex. The range is limited to one octave
C to Cso everyone sings in a comfortable range throughout.
Beginning with stepwise, diatonic quarter notes, this series puts you
in control of how far your students progress. Its flexible, modular
design allows you to concentrate on just the levels of complexity
you want ideal for use in a music curriculum spanning several
grade levels.
Written polyphonically, so every part is melodious.
Great for developing part independence.

Each exercise is written to be performed in any of three ways:
unison, 2-part, or 3-part. The top two lines of each exercise are
designed for 2-part singing. Each exercise also can be sung in any
3-part voicing: SSA, SAB, STB, TTB, etc. Since the lines of each
exercise are interchangeable, each exercise can be sung three
timeseach voice singing a different line each time. An optional
bass clef version allows basses to participate fully in the exercises.
Adaptable to any voice combination, this could be the most
useful and versatile sight-reading purchase youve ever made.

The High School Sight-Singer, by Anna Hamre, DMA, is a new tool

to help older students develop independence in reading music.
Students at this age learn to read music in much the same way they
learn a new language: acquiring memories of sound patterns while

High School
Sight-Singer

The High School Sight-Singer drills are organized into a shortcourse method that takes students through all pitches of the
chromatic scale within a month, teaching them the essentials of
deciphering notation by showing them how to look for handles
among surrounding notes.

by

Each drill is a days lesson focusing on the skips or steps

surrounding a particular pitch level. Needed repetition can be
acquired by dovetailing this course with supplementary choral music
available from Masterworks Press.

Even after classes have moved on to other sight-singing methods or

drills, you may choose to return to this course periodically to review
concepts.

Volume 4. Supplement
This volume is designed to reinforce the developmental work accomplished in the first two volumes of the
series. It combines the concepts introduced in Volumes 1 and 2 lesson by lesson. For example, Lesson 4
of Volume 4 combines the concept of using eighth-note rests (introduced in Lesson 4, Volume 2) with an
emphasis on singing LA (introduced in Lesson 4, Volume 1). You can use Volume 4 either as a review of
the first two volumes or as a concurrent, lesson-by-lesson synthesis of Volumes 1 and 2. (19 lessons)

The Weekly Sight-Singer

An abbreviated and accelerated method
for church and community choirs
that meet only once a week*

!
NEW!

The Weekly Sight-Singer, by Anna Hamre, DMA,

is a unique approach to teaching sight-singing.
Using standard tunes that most adult singers already
know, this method develops a connection between
these familiar melodies and the language of
solfeggio. By building on already established
knowledge, the singer can proceed with confidence.

These look AWESOME! I love her step-by-step, clearly scaffolded approach to sight-singing. Adding the
well-known melodies is brilliant; I believe it will convince even the most diehard "I don't read music"
singers to give it another try. With this method they'll succeed!

The Easy Rhythm

Sight-Singing Series

for choirs with or without changing voices

This series was written for choirs that need simpler rhythmic
content than our Renaissance, Baroque and Classical series
provide, while including the same progression of solfge skills.
The
Easy Rhythm
Sight-Singing
Series

To accommodate choirs with boys changing voices (cambiata),

each mixed choir version contains one voice part that stays within
the cambiata range.* In the SATB edition, this is the Tenor. The
SAB and SA(T)B editions are musically identical, the Bass part
being in the cambiata range. The (T) in the SA(T)B version
duplicates the Bass part, but in Tenor clef, creating the appearance
of four voices in a three-voice compositiongreat for choirs with
small (or weak) tenor and/or bass sections. For boys choirs we
provide the TCB editions (Treble, Cambiata, Bass).

The Renaissance
Sight-Singing Series
The
Renaissance
Sight-Singing
Series
by
Edward DeNardis

Using the rules and conventions of 16th century

counterpoint, composer Edward DeNardis has reproduced
the sound and flavor of Renaissance polyphony in this
elegant series of graded compositions.
As each composition progresses, the independent voice
parts produce a kaleidoscope of ever-changing modal and
tonal harmonies, so characteristic of the period.
Rhythms are basic and straightforward. Melodic imitation
among the voices develops the students listening skills,
as well as their appreciation for the music of this period.

TheClassica l
Sigh t-Singing Series
In this series, composer Hank Beebe has succeeded in capturing
the spirit and ambience of the Classical period in all its rich
variety. Exciting chord progressions, spiced with a wide variety
of rhythmic devices, create an opportunity for beginning readers
to experience the thrill of sight-reading real music.

The
Classical
Sight-Singing
Series

While basically homophonic, this series is rhythmically more

challenging than the Renaissance series. Often, a lyric melody
in one voice part is accompanied by a spritely rhythmic texture
created by the other voices. Volume 2 introduces the use of
syncopation and the melodic minor.

by
Hank Beebe

Melodies often alternate among the voices, so that altos, tenors,

and basses have the opportunity to sing melodies, not just
harmonies.

Easy
Romantic
Sight-Singing Series

In this series, Hank Beebe has captured the splendor of the

Romantic period without deviating from his fluid, easy-to-read
compositional style.
Each volume begins with simple rhythms (whole, dotted half,
half, and quarter notes), then gradually adds eighth note pairs,
multiple eighth notes, and finally dotted quarters and eighths.

by
Hank Beebe
SATB
Volume 1

Although more chromatically colorful than our Classical

series, all the accidentals are kept in the form of easy-to-sing
sharped lower neighbors (e.g., la-si-la).

the great poets

sight-singing with words for s.a.t.b. chorus

Ready for the next step?
There comes a time in a choirs development when the use of solfge can be set aside in favor of
singing with textfirst time through.
Singers can become so dependent on solfge that they are reluctant to sight-sing without it. The
purpose of this series is to liberate your choir from any excessive dependence on solfge and
enable them to move on to this next level of musicianship.
Composer Hank Beebe has filled Volume 1 with easy-to-read music (see facing page) that will
build your singers confidence in their ability to sight-read with text. It gradually progresses, both
rhythmically and harmonically, to the more complex material in subsequent volumes. (See
descriptions below.)
During the course of this series, your students will be exposed to some of the finest poetry of the
ages. Poets represented in this series include Blake, Browning, Bronte, Burns, Byron, Cowper,
Coleridge, Dickinson, Dryden, Emerson, Holmes, Jonson, Keats, Longfellow, Lowell, Milton,
Moore, Poe, Pope, Scott, Shakespeare, Shelley, Tennyson, Whitman, Whittier, and Wordsworth.
PLEASE NOTE: This series is not a substitute for systematic solfge training. It assumes a
reasonable ability in solfge as a prerequisite. Completion of any of our other sight-singing
series is more than adequate preparation.

NATIONAL TREASURES

Sight-Singing with Words for Three-Part Chorus

(available in SSA, SAB, TTB and TBB)
Liberate your choir from dependence on solfge and help them to move on to this next level of
musicianship: SIGHT-SINGING WITH WORDS. This series is entitled National Treasures
because it draws its texts from various Americanapoets: Frost, Dickinson, Sandburg, Longfellow,
Thoreau, Emerson, Whitman, and Poe; historical figures: Jefferson, Franklin, Lincoln, Roosevelt,
Wilson; and national documents, such as the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
In the SAB version, the bass part is written in the Cambiata range, so it can be sung by tenors,
baritones, and boys with changing voices. In the SSA, TTB, and TBB arrangements, all voices
remain in moderate ranges throughout.
These compositions are short enough to be used as warmup exercises, yet musically satisfying and
textually meaningful. Some groups will be able to sing them with words first time through. Others
may require one or two times through with syllables before switching to the lyrics.
PLEASE NOTE: This series is not a substitute for systematic solfge training. It assumes a
reasonable ability in solfge as a prerequisite. Completion of any of our other sight-singing
series is more than adequate preparation.

The SSATB
Sight-Singing Series
Requiring only modest sight-singing ability at the start, this
series is perfect for choirs with a preponderance of female
voicesnot an uncommon situation in many choirs. Since the
upper three voices are often interchangeable, it is possible to
perform each page more than once, with the female voices
exchanging parts.

The
SSATB
Sight-Singing
Series

With moderate-length phrases clearly separated by rests in all

voice parts, this series promotes and develops proper
breathing techniques. Dynamic markings are used throughout
to provide practice in dynamic control, as well as to bring out
inner voices that frequently carry the melody.

by
Hank Beebe

The first four volumes are limited to melodic intervals no larger

than a fifth, beginning with basic, straight-forward rhythms. All
accidentals are approached and left by stepwise motion. The
fourth and fifth volumes introduce triadic melodies, syncopation,
longer phrases, accidentals approached and/or left by skip,
triplets, etc.

Mastering Chroma tics

(Previously sold under the title, The Romantic Sight-Singing Series)
In this series, Hank Beebe takes your choir a giant step
forward toward the ultimate goal: total reading ability.

Mastering
!Chroma tics
by
Hank Beebe
SATB
Volume 1

This series assumes your choir has completed any one of

our other seriesRenaissance, Baroque, Classical, or
Easy Rhythmand it continues with a similarly
methodical treatment of chromaticsfirst stepwise, then
by thirds, then fourths, etc. (See descriptions below.)
The composer has approached the study of chromatics
through music modeled after the 19th century Romantic
composers, e.g., Brahms, Mendelssohn, Wagner,
Tchaikovsky, etc.
By employing simple, basic rhythms, this series enables
the singer to concentrate on the chromatic content of the
music and enjoy a wealth of tonal colors, while at the
same time developing the skills needed to sing a wide
variety of choral music.

1. The editor has reordered the chorales from easiest

to most chromatically complex.
2. The parts are presented in open score format,
instead of the customary keyboard reduction.
3. The entire collection is available in reproducible
format, for economy and utility.
4. All measures are numbered for convenient
rehearsal.
The chorales are organized into four volumes, Volume 1
the easiest, Volume 4, the most complex. The contents
of each volume are likewise organized, creating a smooth
progression in difficulty throughout the entire set.

The variety and complexity of the harmonies, as well as the contrapuntal intricacies of the vocal
lines, make the 371 Chorales of J. S. Bach a superlative example of baroque musical art. This
edition attempts to bring this masterpiece within the technical and financial reach of high school
and college choirs of any reading ability.

PERFORMANCE EDITION

Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina (c.1525-1594) ranks as one of

the greatest masters of the Renaissance musical art. In the nobility
and restraint of his sacred music, he assimilated and refined his
predecessors' polyphonic techniques to produce a seamless texture
and vocal balance that have made him the classic model of the
Renaissance style.
This series includes Palestrinas 52 SATB motets arranged in
their relative order of sight-singing complexity.
These are historically accurate editions of Palestrinas work,
carefully researched and edited by Joe Hickman, D.Mus.
This series is available in two formats:

The John Dowland Ayres

in order of sight-reading complexity
DOWLAND READER

or

PERFORMANCE EDITION

John Dowland (c.1563-1626) was one of the most stylish and

popular composers of his day. His ayres, or love song madrigals,
are full of emotional intensity and elegant melancholy.

The
John Dowland
Ayres
in order of sight-reading complexity

Edited by
Joe Hickman, D.Mus.

This series includes 52 of Dowlands SATB Secular Ayres

arranged in their relative order of sight-singing complexity.
Their strophic design makes the ayres quick and easy to learn,
since the music is repeated for each verse. And, as with all our
publications, every measure is numbered for efficient rehearsal.
These are historically accurate editions of Dowlands work,
carefully researched and edited by Joe Hickman, D.Mus.
This series is available in two formats:

Masterworks Press Policy for Reproducibles

Definition of Original Purchaser: The Original Purchaser is the individual, single school, church, or choral group licensed to make
and use copies of reproducible music purchased from Masterworks Press.
Any other use of Masterworks Press reproducible materials requires prior written permission of the publisher.
1. Individual Purchase
An individual who purchases reproducible music from
Masterworks Press with personal, nonreimbursed funds is the
Original Purchaser and is licensed to make and use copies of
the music listed on the Reproduction License only for choral
groups directed by the Original Purchaser. Copies may not be
sold, distributed, or donated to any other individual,
organization, church, or school. If the Original Purchaser
leaves an affiliated school, church, and/or other organization,
the license to reproduce remains with the Original Purchaser.
The originals and any copies made during the Original
Purchasers tenure must be removed, unless Masterworks Press
is notified in writing of a transfer of ownership to a single
school, church, or other organization.
Example: The Original Purchaser leads choirs at a middle
school, a high school, and a church. S/he may use the
purchased music at all three locations. If s/he leaves one or
more of the locations, all copies must be removed, since neither
the schools nor the church have reproduction rights.
2. Single School Purchase
A single school that purchases reproducible music from
Masterworks Press with school or organization funds or a
district purchase order is the Original Purchaser. If materials
will be shipped to a central warehouse or other third-party
recipient, a purchase order must identify the single school that
will be the licensed Original Purchaser. Only choirs directly
affiliated with the Original Purchaser may make and use copies
of the music listed on the Reproduction License. Copies may
not be sold, distributed, or donated to any other individual,
organization, church, or school.
Example: Adams High School purchases music using a school
or district purchase order, a school or school organization
check, or a school or individuals credit card that is
subsequently submitted for reimbursement. Adams High
School is the Original Purchaser and cannot sell, distribute, or

donate copies to any other individual, organization, church, or

school, within or outside its own school district.
Multiple School Purchase: School districts may apply for
multiple school reproduction licenses. Each named school will
receive its own master copies and reproduction license.
Contact Masterworks Press for details.
3. Single Church Purchase
A single church that purchases reproducible music from
Masterworks Press with church or church organization funds or
an individuals check or credit card that is subsequently
submitted for reimbursement is the Original Purchaser. Only
choirs directly affiliated with the Original Purchaser may make
and use copies of the music listed on the Reproduction License.
Copies may not be sold, distributed, or donated to any other
individual, organization, school, or church.
Example: Mount Tabor Lutheran Church purchases
reproducible music. Mount Tabor Lutheran Church is the
Original Purchaser and cannot sell, distribute, or donate copies
to any other individual, organization, school, or church, within
or outside its own diocese or denomination.
4. Single Civic or Professional Choral Group Purchase
A single choral group that purchases reproducible music from
Masterworks Press is the Original Purchaser. Only this choral
group may make and use copies of the music listed on the
Reproduction License. Copies may not be sold, distributed, or
donated to any other individual, school, church, or
organization.
5. Contests, Festivals, Workshops, Conventions, etc.
Contact Masterworks Press (800) 300-9229 to discuss your
particular needs.
