Omotesando and Harajuku
Omotesando is the name of a street that stretches from Harajuku station to Aoyama Dori. It was built as an approach to Meiji
Shrine, which is dedicated to the deified spirit of Emperor Meiji
in the Taisho era (1920s). Today, Omotesando is widely accepted as the name of the area surrounding this street lined with
many brand boutiques and specialty shops. The Omotesando
and Harajuku districts have become trendsetting spots for the
latest fashions and a hub for people who follow the latest changes in fashion very closely.

Attractions of Futakotamagawa
that reveal the daily life of Tokyo
Futakotamagawa is a residential area that has a bountiful
natural environment further enriched with the quietly-flowing
Tamagawa River and the only place in Tokyo with a ravine. Futakotamagawa used to be a resort town during the Edo era.
This township is highly recommended for tourists who want to
get away from the bustle of the city and enjoy a leisurely sightseeing trip. You can experience an upwardly mobile daily life of
Tokyo that is somewhat different from the older parts of Tokyo.

The photos and information below tell you how to purchase a ticket to
get on the Tokyu Line.
sample
Minatomirai Ticket
A Minatomirai Ticket is good for a full day of unlimited rides, which is convenient when you are going
to Yokohama. It combines a round-trip ticket to Yokohama station from any station on the Tokyu Lines
(except Yokohama station, and Kodomono-kuni
Line and Setagaya Line stations) with a one-day
pass on the Minatomirai Line. This ticket is very
useful when you travel to Minatomirai station or Motomatchi-Chukagai station. The Minatomirai Ticket
can be purchased from a ticket machine. The ticket
price is different depending on the station where
you get on the train.
30
Tokyu Lines have Local, Semi-Express, Express, and Limited Express (Commuter Limited Express) train services. While no extra
fee such as Limited Express fare or Express fare is necessary,
these trains will not stop at some of the stations. Only local trains
stop at every station.
Using the
PASMO Card
sample
You can charge a PASMO IC card with advance cash payment so that fares for getting on and off trains and
buses can be automatically calculated and you do not need to purchase tickets each time when you get on
trains or buses. You can also use PASMO card as electronic money to make purchases at eligible stores.
You can purchase a PASMO card at a station or from the ticket machines on Tokyu Lines (except Kodomono-kuni Line stations). There are two types of PASMO cards, Blank PASMO and Named PASMO.
To purchase a Named PASMO, you need to register your private information, thus it is easier to purchase
a Blank PASMO.
Price of PASMO card: 1,000 yen minimum (including a 500-yen deposit)
Charge amount: In increments of 1,000 yen
You can use the same PASMO card repeatedly by charging it.
Convenient for
Shopping!
The PASMO card can be used in many stores such as toks shops inside Tokyu Line stations. To use
the PASMO card, first confirm whether that the PASMO sticker for accepting payment with the card is
displayed on the shop.
Refund
When you no longer need the PASMO card, you can get a refund from the station counters. A handling
charge (210 yen) will be deducted from your PASMO card and the remaining money together with your
deposit (500 yen) will be refunded.
PASMO is a registered trademark of Pasmo Co., Ltd.
Cautions!
Ticket gates with no ticket slot!
Some ticket gates are provided exclusively for IC cards. These ticket
gates do not have ticket slots, and you cannot pass through the gate
using a ticket. Use the ticket gates that allow you to use tickets at
the stations.
