MASTER PLUMBING

The Master Plumbing Licensure Review Course


includes the whole subjects necessary in preparation
for the Master Plumbing Licensure Examination.
The course offers a fundamental course designed
after the current trends in Sanitation and Plumbing
Science where students are trained with an in-depth
method through live discussions, lectures, onsite
seminars, construction tours, test simulations and
mock exams on all areas of concern. The review also
covers individual assessment to every reviewees,
having to know their strengths and weaknesses so that they can ready themselves in advance and
become Registered Master Plumber

ARCHITECTURE
Our Architecture Licensure Board Review is
comprehensive program that is very
efficient because of our holistic curriculum,
innovative teaching methods, competent
academician, and high quality teaching
materials. We have five modules designed
based on a contemporary approach to
architectural training, combining theory and
practice through reflection and analysis of
design, theory and construction processes, a
knowledgeable approach to site and
materials, and in developing critical judgment and capacity for synthesis. The syllabus places
particular emphasis on theories, history of architecture, architectural practice, building codes,
building utilities, building materials, building construction, structural conceptualization and
architectural design taking considerations the new trends of architecture licensure examination
into account.
Module 1: Theory and Criticism, History of Architecture, Sustainability, Tropical Design
Urban Planning, Architectural Practice and Building Laws is composed of 10 sessions of 8
hours each session of combined studio based lectures, dialogues and workshops, each of which
individualized to have an in-depth study.
Module 2: Building Science and Structures, this 14 sessions of 8 hours each session,
encompasses Module 2: Building Science and Structures, this 14 sessions of 8 hours each
session, encompasses important technical subjects such as building materials and finishes,
building construction, electrical and mechanical systems, communications systems, fire fighting
systems, transportation systems, theory of structures and structural conceptualization. The
module is combined with studio-based lectures, workshops and reinforced with site construction
tours.
Module 3: 3D Analysis of National Building Code Rule 7 and 8, this module is focused on the
Philippine National Building Code (PD 1096) Rule 7 and 8 whereby students are taught indepthly on the 2d and 3d computations of the code compliance. Particular emphasis is given on
the case-based problems of different building types concerning computations such as AMBF,
USA, ISA, PSO etc including estimates and quantity survey which is repeatedly given in the
current architecture board examinations.
Module 4: Architectural Design Studio, an 10 sessions of 8 hours per session focusing on
advanced theoretical and studio-based architectural design of various building types. The module
is done through intensive lectures brainstorming, and workshops of design problems such as low
rise residential, med-rise residential, high rise residential, office condominiums, hotels and
hospitality design, schools, government and semi-government offices, shopping malls, industrial

and factories, bus and air/sea port terminal, cultural and convention centers taking into account
the trends of the architecture licensure examinations.
Module 5: Refresher, Rationalization and Coaching, this is a 7 days intense course where
students are refreshed of the basic module undertaken. This is normally done through dialogue
and forum where students are equip with the complete knowledge for successfully passing the
board exam. 5 days before the exam, the students are comfortably house in one dormitory or
hotel with the Studio Master and some lecturer s for a 3- day personalized coaching. Air or land
transportation and accommodation of students from Cebu, Davao, Legazpi, Singapore and
Tacloban are arranged by ArcStudio so students can focus with their studies.

PRC to conduct Special Professional


Licensure Board Examinations for OFWs in
Middle East

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that Special Professional Licensure Board
Examinations (SPLBE) will be conducted again in the Middle East this year. SPLBE will be held at the
designated testing centers in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Al-Khobar and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia and in Doha, Qatar on October 3, 4 and 5, 2014.

The tests include licensure board examinations for Architects, Certified Public Accountants,
Civil Engineering, Dentists (written), Electronics Engineers/Technicians, Mechanical Engineers,
Master Plumbers, Nurses, Registered Electrical Engineers, Registered Master Electricians, and
Professional Teachers.
Applicants may apply through the Online Application System (OAS) which can be accessed
at www.prc.gov.ph/only/application.
Upon submission of the application for licensure examinations via OAS, the following
documents shall be submitted by the applicants to the Philippine Overseas Labor Offices
(POLOs) at the respective embassies/consulates until Tuesday, July 15, 2014:
Basic documents
1.
Photocopy of Transcript of Records (with or without scanned picture and remarks For
Board Examination Purposes Only)
2.

Photocopy of valid passport

3.

Four passport-size pictures with complete nametag in white blackboard

Original copies of the basic documents shall be presented to the PRC examination team for
validation upon arrival at the examination venues.

Professional Regulatory Board Specific Original Documents


For Architects:
1. Accomplished Logbook for Diversified Experience for local/overseas experience (certified
by mentor-architect) and/or Certificate of Related Work Experience for overseas experience
signed by the employer for a minimum of 3,840 hours. Scanned copies shall be submitted
through e-mail to the Board of Architecture for conditional approval.
2.

Updated PRC ID of mentor, PTR, IAPOA.

3.

Affidavit must be signed and sealed by Architect-mentor.

For Registered Master Electricians:


1.
Certificate of experience on prescribed form (PRC Form No. 104), certified and signed by
REE/RME/PEE and Certification from the Company.
For CPAs:
1.
Certificate of Completion for refresher course if applicable. Repeaters shall submit proof of
most recent exams taken (NOA, OR).
For Nurses:
First Timer:
1.
BSN graduates under CMO No.14 S 2009- Certificate of Undertaking signed by the Dean
and Registrar, duly notarized.
2.
BSN graduates under CMO No.30 S 2001-original copy of the Summary of Related
Learning Experience (RLE) and original copy of the OR-DR cases in the new format.
Repeater:
1.

Basic Documents.

For Dentists:
1.
If the applicant had not taken the Dentists Licensure Examination for 5 years and up 6
month Refresher Course Certificate.
2.

If the applicant had failed for three times 6 month Refresher Course Certificate.

For Master Plumbers:

1.
For licensed or graduates of BSCE, BS Architecture, BSME, BS Sanitary Engineering and
BS Mining Engineering Transcript of Records and Photocopy of valid passport.
2.
For Registered Electrical Engineers or graduate of BS Eletrical Engineering five years of
experience as Master Plumbers, Transcript of Records, Photocopy of REE if Registered
Electrical Engineer.
3.
For High School graduates five years of experience as Master Plumbers, High School
diploma and photocopy of valid passport.
The lists of requirements can also be browsed at the official website of PRC at www.prc.gov.ph.
Submission of the list of pre-qualified applicants for the various discipline/boards together with
the required documents by POLO to PRC is until Thursday, July 31, 2014.
In the case of the licensure examination for professional teachers, the list of pre-qualified
applicants for Elementary Level should be separated from those for the Secondary Level.
The list for the Secondary Level must also identify the Major Subject of Specialization to be
taken by the examinee.
Payment of examination fees shall be remitted by the applicants/examinees through the
designated Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) Overseas Remittance Offices (OROs).
