John 2:11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested
forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

Lev. 1:4 And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall
be accepted for him to make atonement for him.

Merciful and Gracious Heavenly Father:

My sight of Christs blood comforts me, but your sight of his blood secures
my salvation. Even when I am not able to behold the blood (because of some sin
I allowed in my life), you still look at it; you see it and your judgment passes over
me, because of your view of Jesus blood!
If I am not at peace like I should be (because my faith is dim), you still see
the blood of the Sacrifice with a steady gaze, and you recognize the infinite
fullness of all that is meant by the death of your Son as my substitute. That is love
divine, all loves excelling! O help me get others look on it and be saved!
When you see the blood, you see justice satisfied and your name glorified.
You beheld creation in its progress and said, It is very good. What must we now say
of redemption in its completion? What must we say of the obedienceeven unto
deathof your beloved Son? No one can tell what you saw presented as a
sacrifice when Jesus Christ offered himself willingly and without spot unto you.
Help me exalt the cross more! I have Christs blood and Gods Bible to
create a perfect sense of security in your will. You will, you must, pass over the
sins of __________. If you spared not your only Son, you will not let his
suffering go to waste. Your justice links hands with your love to provide an
everlasting salvation safety net for all sinners like _______ who come to Jesus.
Give me grace, give me power, give me boldness to relay that message this
week. I acknowledge your presence, because I need your power in order to fully
and faithfully proclaim the good news. I ask for it in Jesus glorious name. Amen.

My Holy Lord:
It is one thing to believe Jesus. It is another thing to believe in Jesus. It is
the best thing to believe ON Jesus, because that is where the true rest is: to
believe upon him for eternal life.
1 Pet. 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Absorb my very personality in Christ Jesus today! Make my weak and
watery faith gain the fullness and richness of good wine. Come and bless my
human joy with your presence. Lord knows, I need you more than just in my
sorrowsI need you to be present and praised at my parties!
1 Cor. 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the
glory of God.

If I am getting along well in my career or just retired, I need you

If I have a newborn baby or a new graduate, I need you

If I just got married or just became single, I need you

If I passed a test for promotion or if I was passed-over, I need you

If I have a birthday to celebrate or a funeral to attend, I need you

Jesus, come into my joy and raise my happiness to a higher level, and
certainly a better quality. Raise me up from what I am right now to a place better,
nobler, holier, more fulfilling and more god-like. Do it especially for the sake of
those at the feast who will be without refreshment unless you do a new work in
me. Lord, we are not worthy of your answer, but this is why Jesus diedso the
new wine of your love could be dispensed to everyone without cost. Amen.

God of My Spiritual Forefathers:

By laying his hand on the bullock the offerer identified with it. It became
his own sacrifice for his own sin. How much more will Jesus Christ become my
substitute for punishment when I lay the hand of my faith on him today?
If a bull could be accepted to make atonement for the souls of Old
Testament saints, how much more is Jesus accepted to give me at-one-ment
reconciliation with God and revival today? In death, he was my substitute. In
this life, I am his replacement. It is my hope, my joy, and my boast to all.
Gal. 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth
in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved
me, and gave himself for me.
And now I live
Eph. 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in
the beloved.
I lay my hand on the complete sacrificial death of Christ, so I can present
myself to God as a living sacrifice today. If I understand and accept his sacrifice
then I can benefit from it even now.
I put out my handwithout a moments hesitation. Jesus is mine for the
day. I will lean on him. I am reconciled to God, my sins are blotted out, and I
exist to be his replacement in this life, just as he was my substitute on the cross.
Here is what will produce revival. I give up my plans for your Eternal
Purpose, Lord. I present my whole body to you. Work by your Spirit in
unexplainable ways, for I ask it in Jesus precious name. Amen.

Exodus 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye
are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to
destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

1 Cor. 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of
these is charity.

Prov. 11:25 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered
also himself.

Psa. 41:4 I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned
against thee.

LOVE divine, all loves excelling, joy of heaven to earth come down;

Mighty Father:

Help us, as a church, be considerate of our community, because then

you will consider us

Help us consider the poor with compassion. Only seldom do we see

in our society the deep misery that exists in two-thirds of this planet.

Help us consider the children, because then you will look after us as
your children

Help us consider that there is a mission in your Great Commission

Let us water your garden, because Lord we want you to water our services.
Help us fulfill the condition of this promise so we can see its fulfillment.

Do not let us care so much for ourselves that we grow too serious

Do not let us watch over our own feelings so long that we lose feeling
for the hurts of others

Dont let us lament our weaknesses until we grow too weak to lament
It is far more profitable for us if you work all things together to make us
unselfish, so out of love for our Lord Jesus Christ we take up the cross and
become soul-conscious about others in our community.
If our tank seems low and no rain comes, then give us the faith to pour-out
the rest of what we have on the plants around us. Then we will fill-up as we flowout, because a secret spring is at work supplied by your Spirit.
If we stay stagnant we stay sealed. But as we water others, you think on
us. Do that today, dear Lord Jesus. Amen.

Lord God Who Sees My Heart:

I thank you I can cling to this promise of mercy from you when every
chance of others pity is gone. Heal my soul so I can regain my position. Do that
by granting me mercy and not justice. Grace gives me things I do not deserve,
but mercy withholds the judgment I do deserve. Give me the extreme of mercy
for the extremity of my misery! It was my own pride and selfishness that caused
my pain. My righteousness is as filthy rags. I live in a flesh in which no good
thing dwells (Rom. 7:18). All my sin goes against you, but you are the one,
Psa. 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Psa. 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
My heart is broken, Lord. The habits of grace grow weak when sins grow
strong and vigorous. Your grace never fails, but sin does give me a wound. What
I pray for now, I know you promised to your people in all ages:
Hosea 14:4 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is
turned away from him.
Sin has strength: it is in the law I cannot keep. Sin has a sting: in the death it
brings to faith, to relationships, and to devotion to you. But I know there is a way
back from it all.
1 Cor. 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord
Jesus Christ.
1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the
victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
My faith is in your forgiveness today! Amen.

Fix in us thy humble dwelling; all thy faithful mercies crown!

Jesus, Thou art all compassion, pure unbounded love Thou art;
Visit us with Thy salvation; enter every trembling heart.
Breathe, O breathe Thy loving Spirit, into every troubled breast!
Let us all in Thee inherit; let us find that second rest.
Take away our bent to sinning; Alpha and Omega be;
End of faith, as its Beginning, set our hearts at liberty.
Come, Almighty to deliver, let us all Thy life receive;
Suddenly return and never, never more Thy temples leave.
Thee we would be always blessing, serve Thee as Thy hosts above,
Pray and praise Thee without ceasing, glory in Thy perfect love.
Finish, then, Thy new creation; pure and spotless let us be.
Let us see Thy great salvation perfectly restored in Thee;
Changed from glory into glory, till in heaven we take our place,
Till we cast our crowns before Thee, lost in wonder, love, and praise.

GIVE GOD THE FIRST DIME OF EVERY DOLLARno questions

asked. Ten percent is a miniscule amount in our affluent society, but it must come
off the top in order to show that God is our priority. We want the blessing of the

resources.
3)

INTERCEDE WITH GOD INSTRUCT SAINTS

PROMPT PETITIONS KICKSTART DEVOTION

INSTRUCTIONS:

Baptists tend to ridicule liturgical churches that use "prepared prayers" because
they lack spontaneity. But for many Baptists, their prayers are so predictable they are
no more spontaneous than written-out prayers. The result is we end up praying the
same things over and over.
This daily Prayer Diary will prompt you on a wide range of prayer requests you
might not normally think of, while forcing you to articulate a deeper devotion to
God. We have included a daily Bible reading schedule. This plan will take you
through the Bible chronologically in a year.
Do not read ahead and do not try to catch up. Use each day as it comes. Then
you can know that on any given day, dozens of other people are lifting their hearts in
the same mind to God. Pray what is written, but use what is prayed as a springboard
for your own relationship with God. You learn to pray by praying.
Alan

Secret prayer is the secret of prayer, the soul of prayer, the seal of prayer, the
strength of prayer. If you do not pray alone you do not pray at all. Our Lord Jesus
Christ would go nowhere till He had prayed. He would attempt nothing till He had
prayed.
Oh, says one, I live in the spirit of prayer, and therefore I do not need times
and seasons for prayer. And do you think that Christ did not live in the spirit of
prayer? Yet He had to have his special time and place to pray. Do not fall under the
injurious notion that because your spirit cries to God in prayer all day long, therefore
there must not be some season for more immediately coming into Gods presence. If
you imagine this, I am afraid that it will prove a snare to your feet. The Lord Jesus
Christ, who knew better than you do that the main thing is the spirit of prayer rather
than the act of prayer, yet Himself retired into desert places to maintain the act and
exercise of prayer. Be spiritual. Be baptized into the spirit of prayer. But do not be
deceived by the enemy, who can steal a spirit away while we dream that we only
spiritualize it. We had better preserve the very bones of prayerthe posture, the
time, placerather than let it all ooze away into an impalpable mental condition.
God keep us prayerful. He will do so if He makes us like His dear Son.
Charles H. Spurgeon, 1834-92
