Abha Folklore Heritage Village /KSA

Mixed use | Cultural | Hospitality
Abha region is quite different to most of the KSA in terms of climate and architecture. The region has got a moderate
weather all around the year. Temperatures goes under zero level so often in the cool season with rainfalls and sometimes
snow! Architecture and cultural life is widely altered by the nearby culturally rich area of Yemen featuring a more open still
preserving society. White the project aims to welcome visitors from all KSA area it is exposing and celebrating the local
traditional style in a sensing sustainability that builds on integrating the site into the whole context.

Residential /B+G+! Villa
Dealing with clients with ambitious visions might be
quite a challenge. Designed with eyes on details and
thoughtful play with masses, this residence is aiming to
reflect part of the busy crazy fast ecstatic type of life the
client had. Free lines, open plan, floating shading
elements are all used to deliver the place. A place where
he feels home.

Platinum Offices Complex /Dubai, UAE

Office | Commercial | Mixed Use
With all eye pleasant buildings that happen to take your breath along the Sheikh Zayed Road, A new building would need
either magic or magic to resist and be memorable. Another way to do that is to trick the passers eyes! To create an eye
illusion with an array of glass boxes that is neither equal in size nor in color and that shed such a unique interior light to
the offices upstairs.

Gold & Diamonds Center /Sharjah, UAE

Commercial
In the center of the old city of Sharjah that ages back to the middle twentieth century an opportunity arises to build a new
retail in a vacant plot. Sleek, elegant yet eliminated simple design elements where used to avoid contradiction with
adjacent buildings. Reflecting glass was used as a man cladding material to give a feeling of openness and wideness.

Coffee Shop Building /Sharjah, UAE

Commercial
At a new quarter of Sharjah mostly inhabited by workers and just next to the industrial area
zone lies the site of this project. At the extreme working and weather conditions of these
workers in Sharjah comes the need for a relaxing place. A place that is smart enough to avoid
the direct solar gain and equally important to provide shaded interiors area around the clock.
A mass solar gain analysis was utilized since the early stages of the design process thanks to
BIM along with other software to assure that the building is matching the design criteria.
Eventually, a shaded smoking space was delivered using the same method.

Syrian Expatriate Private Villa /Dubai, UAE

Residential
While letting daylight in is a typical concern in Syrian Architecture, there comes a need
to preserve privacy for all spaces; a thoughtful separation between family space and
guests space. A semiprivate area was introduced providing access to the residence,
to the entertaining basement level, to the backside basketball playground and to the
proposed future intended family expansion.

Documentation of Saint Simeon

Village /Aleppo, Syria
Cultural | World Heritage Site [UNESCO]
A site that is listed in the UNESCO tentative list globally referred
to as one of the Dead Cities in the northern western Syria. The
global awareness of the cultural and archeological importance
of the site has brought many separated trials to documentation.
Yet only lately a governmental interest has led to the full
documentation, and the Consultation Office of Aleppo
University implemented the program.

Damas Uptown Regeneration 2050 /

Damascus, Syria
Civic | Mixed Use | Urban Planning | Landscape [more details online (1) (2)]
Damascus is being ranked among the oldest three cities in the world continuously
inhabited. During thousands of years, tens of civilizations had left their own imprints on
the cityscape. Yet the last 50 years happened to be the worst in the city history leaving
Damascus today a city from the past.
The project aims to reconnect the city with the world of today by targeting the urban
sprawl in the heart of Damascus today with a major regeneration for a grey area with links
to most of the vital areas in the city. Urban design emphasizes the original crossing
planning and with site typography and integrates new much needed residential and
modern civic spaces in the form of complexes initiating small microclimates. The heart of
the projects is an iconic tower morphosis generated from the shape of Jasmine the
damascene famous rose.

BAndara Revitalization /Aleppo, Syria

Cultural | World Heritage Site [UNESCO]
The project aims to develop methods of interventions into the old walled city of Aleppo. Suggestions included the
rehabilitation of some parts and erection or construction of other parts. Materials and construction techniques that
matches the original ones where used to preserve the site. Methodologies where put to let inhabitants and daily visitors
enjoy the site. Touristic paths and information centers where integrated as well.

Faculty of Civil Engineering /Deir El Zor, Syria

Education [more details online]
The project lies in one of the hottest areas in Syria. Passive design techniques where incorporated to eliminate the need
for artificial conditioning and ventilation. Solutions included building the whole project under ground level, Using solar
power, sun screening devices and a semi-open inner courtyard that is utilizing the prevailing winds and water features to
initiate a livable microclimate.

Ecological Residential Suburb /Aleppo, Syria

Residential | Urban Planning
The suburb is part of the expansion of Aleppo city to satisfy the urgent need for affordable housing depending on
prefabricated units to form mini ecological complexes. The solution is utilizing natural plant species that grew in area.

Expressionism

Variations of colors and painting techniques
investigated makes art a tunnel where all our
emotions and thoughts pass through, and
builds our own world on paper as well.
Readers or seers will immediately feel the
