enjoyedhimselfwithhisfriendsinaholyplacecalledAlograma.IntheplaceIndra
Dhvajabedi,NandarajusedtoworshipIndra.ItwastherethatSriKrsnausedtosend
hiscows,callingeachonebythesoundofhisflute.
Rinmochana(PapmachanaAkhyana)isfamousforitsholiness.Ifapersonbathes
therehewillbefreedfromallvices.ThisisSankaishanaKundaandwhoeverwants
tofulfilhisdesiresshouldtakeabathhere.
InParasavrivillageRadhaandKrsnaenactedtheirYasuratrainthiskirtana.In
ChandraSarvar,SriKrsnatookrestafterYasuratra.Nowweseethebeautiful
GandhavaKunda,wheretheGandhavasbecameoverwhelmedbythebeautifulsongs
ofKrsna.NoonecandescribeallthepastimesofRadhaKrsnaduringthetimeof
VasantarasainGovardhan.
IntheGovardhanAshrayadasakaofStavavaliitisgiveninaninscription:thisis
YasaSthaliwhereRadha,theloverofKrsnawasworshippedbyhundredsof
Lakshmis.Itissurroundedbyherbeautifulsakhis,herneckdecoratedbytheloving
handofKrsna,dancedinspringtimeenchantment.Allfortunatepersonstakeshelter
ofthegreatGovardhanYasaSthali.
ThereisanothervillagecalledPaithawhereKrsnaoncehidhisselffromtheGopis
whobegansearchinghereandthereforhim.KrsnaappearedbeforetheGopisinhis
fourhandedVisnuformbutuponarrivalofRadhatwootherhandsdisappeared.So
strongwastheloveofRadhathatKrsnacouldnotretainhisfourarmedform.This
hasbeenwrittenintheNayikaPrakaraofUjjamanilmani.
AftershowingalltheholyplacesSriRaghavareturnedtoGouaiTirthawithSrinivasa
andNarottama.ThisplaceiscalledNeepaKundabecauseitissurroundedby
beautifulneepa(Kadamba)trees.AnotherholyplaceiscalledAniyor.Itwashere
thatbyKrsna'sorderNandaandtheotherGopasstoppedtheworshipofIndraand
startedtheworshipofGovardhanbyofferingvariouskindsoffoods.Thevoiceof
Govardhanresoundedinthesky,"AniAurAniAur"(Bringmemorewater)andfor
thatreasonthisplaceiscalledAniyor.ByvisitiingAnnyakutaalldesireswillbe
fulfilled.InStavavaliiswrittenSriKrsnathekillerofAga,tookallthefoodwhich
wasofferedtoGovardhanbySriNandabytransforminghimselfintoahugebody
andbydeprivingRadhaofaboon.TheplaceGovindaKundahasitsownglory
becauseitwasherethatIndraperformedtheAbhsieakofKrsna.IntheRavivivilas
chapterofStavavaliitissaidthatoutoffearofLordKrsnaIndraperformedthe

AbhisekceremonyofKrsnainfrontofeveryonebybringingtheholywaterof
MandakanifromSarbui.FromthisholywaterGovindaKundawasformed.InAdi
VarahaPuranaitissaidthatbybathingorperformingtapasyaatGovindaKundaone
attainssalvationonthevirtuesofperformingonehundredYajnas.
ThereisapondGovindawhichiscalledDanaNivinatakundawhichissurrounded
byadenseforest.ItwasherethatGopalahidandperformedhisdanakelipastimes.
Thisplaceisnotknownbycommonpeople;onlyonewhounderstandsthereal
meaningofKrsna'spastimescanvisithere.AdiVarahaPuranahasstatedthesame
fact.ItwasherethatGopalagavedarshantoMadhavendraPurionthepretextof
bringinghimmilk.GopalalivedinGothulionthemountain.Onthefarsideof
GovardhanisApsaraKundawherefortunatepeoplecantakebath.Theholyplace
ShyamaDhakisaquietareawithaoldpalash.
Whiledescribingalltheseplaces,SriRaghavaPanditatookhistwofollowerstohis
owncave.Hetoldthemfromthatcavetheydailyenjoythebeautyandgloryof
Govardhan.

meditationonKrsna.InKadamkhandiSriKrsnawatchedthepathbywhichRadha
hadgone.InDanghaliKrsnausedtotasteRadha.DisguisedaskingMadanaKrsna
tookhisshareofthemilkfromRadhawhilehisfriendsblockedherway.InVraja
Vilasathesamestoryisgiven.WhenSriCaitanyaMahaprabhuvisitedhereand
heardthepastimesfromhisfollowers,hedancedinecstasyinfrontofeveryone.
