MOTIVATION LETTER

Dear Sir/ Madam,

My purpose for applying to this PhD program is to both expand on my solid education
and to create more opportunities for myself in the future. I wish in particular to be trained
at an advanced level in Computer Networks/Security/Grid Computing/Cloud
Computing/Information Security/Ubiquitous Computing/Algorithms/Management
Sciences. My ultimate goal is to become an expert in a particular domain and then
deliver my research experience and ideas in education field. I believe that advanced
training in a postgraduate program of good quality will realize my dream.
As a highly motivated postgraduate majoring in M.S/M.PHIL (Computer Sciences) at
Gandhara University of Sciences Peshawar, I have gained distinctive academic results,
hands-on experience in different research areas and leadership skills. With my two years'
consistent efforts and keen interest, my CGPA (3.5/4) and with 4 years consistent efforts
and keen interest I got CGPA (3.59/4) in BS (CS) Hons 4 Years. Besides courses listed
on my transcript, I did a lot of experiments in relation to these courses. My outstanding
academic performance directed me to get a chance to work with a research group which
in turn led me to publish research papers in international journals.
My passion for Information Technology was not limited to a narrow range. My interest in
Computer Networks/Security/Grid Computing/Cloud Computing/Information
Security/Ubiquitous Computing/Algorithms/Management Sciences began from 4 years
ago; it is such a promising area. It is an ideal research
area for aspiring computer scientists to keep themselves up to date with the latest
technologies and to make innovations.
I wish to delve deeper into the subjects to be able to carry out independent research and
analysis and to follow it up with a Post-Doctorate or serve in a research institution. My
long-term goal is to be an expert in Computer Networks/Security/Grid Computing/Cloud
Computing/Information Security/Ubiquitous Computing/Algorithms/Management
Sciences and to aid the development of this area internationally and my home country
where it is a demanding area to work on. I am aware that my knowledge pertaining to
Computer Networks/Security/Grid Computing/Cloud Computing/Information
Security/Ubiquitous Computing/Algorithms/Management Sciences is insufficient but I
assure you that I am committed and motivated enough to fill in the gap.
The desire to acquire these skills is one reason why I am attracted to the program.
Secondly, the concern institute is well known for its excellence in the information and
communication technology field, complete with an accomplished faculty and modern
research resources. Thirdly, I am also attracted by the program's inventiveness and
uniqueness. With students from various nations, it provides its students with a good
chance to learn from different cultures.

I am confident that I will match the high standards set by your institute and I will be able
to greatly contribute to the program. For all these reasons, I strongly aspire to secure
admission to purse PhD, with adequate financial assistance (Education Expense, Living
Expense in the form of stipend per month) in your program.
