ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Maharashtra Academy of Engineering & Educational

Research (MAEER), Pune established in 1983 is a wellknown trust known for educational excellence. MAEER is
truly multi-campus and multi-disciplinary organization
conducting Savitribai Phule Pune University approved
academic programs in Engineering, Management,
Pharmacy, Medicine and Polytechnic. Approximately
65,000 students are studying in various institutions of
MAEER at one time. At present it is functioning under the
able leadership of Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad,
Founder, Executive President and Managing Trustee.
MAEER's MIT Group of Institutions, Pune. The
management of MAEER is committed to promote the
Culture of Peace through value based Universal
Education System.

The conferenceAMET-2015 is premier forum for the

presentation of advances, research and innovations in the
field of Mechanical Engineering. The conference is jointly
organized by MIT College of Engineering, Pune & Defence
Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Pune.

MITCOE
MIT College of Engineering (MITCOE) was established in
2001 with a view to develop academic excellence. It is
functioning under the able guidance of Prof. Dr. Mangesh
T. Karad, Executive Director and Secretary MIT Group of
Institutions. MITCOE is approved by All India Council of
Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Savitribai
Phule Pune University. Currently 3500 students in five
streams of engineering are studying in campus. A state-ofthe-art infrastructure has been developed for each
discipline of study. Well-planned laboratories are built
around a modular concept and are equipped with latest
equipments. A highly conducive atmosphere exists to get
the best of the industries to the college resulting in
project sponsorships, seminars and workshops.

DIAT
The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, (DIAT) as
it is known today, came into being as the Institute of
Armament Studies in 1952 in the CME campus.
In 1967, the Institute was renamed as "Institute of
Armament Technology, (IAT)", which moved to its present
location at Girinagar, Pune. In the year 2000, the Institute
acquired the status of a Deemed University. IAT has been
renamed as DIAT w.e.f. 1st April 2006.

Day-I: Paper presentation sessions at MITCOE.
Day-II: Technical sessions and visit to DIAT campus.

CALL FOR PAPERS:

Original and unpublished research papers are invited for
presentation in this conference. Full-length papers are to be
submitted on A4 size paper with margins of 30mm at bottom,
20mm on all other sides. The paper should be limited to six
pages typed in single spacing with one columns using TIMES
NEW ROMAN font having main text size 12 points and heading
14 points. Each paper should contain abstract limited to a
maximum of 300words. Authors are requested to mail soft copy
of paper to amet.mitcoe@gmail.com
