Supply and Demand Poster

Introduction: Supply and demand are major forces in the economy. Understanding these
forces and the ways in which they respond to various factors are essential for grasping more
complicated economic principles.
Task: Create a poster graphically illustrating changes in supply and demand in a market of
your choice.
Requirements: In order to successfully complete this assignment, your poster should:

Be titled The ______________ Market (fill in the blank with the good or service of your
choice we will assume perfect competition in the market you choose).
Include six fully and correctly labeled market graphs showing both a supply and
demand.
o Each graph must be accompanied by a description of a scenario that would
cause a change in the market. Scenarios should be drawn from the
determinants of supply and demand. Use as many different determinants as
possible.
o Each graph must correctly illustrate the change that would occur given the
scenario described.
Include several relevant original illustrations (no digital images, clip art, etc.) that
enhance understanding of the determinants of supply and demand.
Be neat and readable.
