Notes for the authors

Please submit one hard copy of the final version, the text file
and the required fonts via email attachment. All standard/
current word processing programs, preferably MS-Word and
Word for Windows are allowed. Please do not use any write
protection. Note that the text file and the print-out version
have to be identical. In case you want to submit your manuscript via attachment please check the correctness of the
attachment version. The length of your manuscript should
not exceed 25 pages (type face: Times New Roman, type
size: 11 pt, line spacing 12 pt). Manuscripts exceeding the
upper limit will not be accepted without prior consultation of
the editor. Manuscripts that do not comply with the profile of
the journal will not be returned. Language of publication is
English.
Divide your manuscript as follows:

Form of the manuscript:
Leave the following margins on all sides of the paper
(sheet size DIN A4, 21 cm x 29.7 cm):
top 3.8 cm
left 4 cm
right 4 cm
bottom 6.2 cm
Indent 0.35 cm after paragraphs and headings.
Use italics for cited linguistic forms (in the running text,
in examples as well as in figures and tables), for nonEnglish words, for titles of books and journals in the
running text.
Use SMALL CAPITALS for abbreviated category labels in
glosses and for surnames of authors and editors (regardless of whether they occur in the runnig text, in examples
or in the references).
Use single quotation marks for the translation of linguistic forms (ex.: wan with) and double quotation marks
for short quotations in the running text and qualified
words or phrases. Longer quotations (more than three
lines) have to be presented as block quotation.

Please use scientific transcription or transliteration for
examples from languages with non-Latin, non-Cyrillic or
non-Greek script. Use the following format for numbered
examples set off from the running text:

Notes:
Please print notes as footnotes (no endnotes!) and number
them consecutively. Do not burden them with too much
text, illustrations and tables.
Bibliographical citations and references:
Within the text please refer by means of authorss or editors surname, year of publication and page number (STOLZ
& URDZE 2001: 294).
In the list of references, please do not abbreviate journal
titles and first names of authors and editors. Follow the
examples below:
