District Doda J&K

A brief summary since its inception:

National Students Walfare Association has organized many meetings,

seminars,debates communal harmony meets, peace mission rallies, women
development programmes, orphan programmes in 2003-2005 in Bhalessa
doda area of j&k state .These has been attended by students ,teachers, youth
and eminent social workers.Sisnificant programmes amongst these are listed
below:

 In June 2003 the peace rally was organized at Bhalessa doda with a
view to disseminate the message of peace and communal
harmony .More than 5000 youth participated in the rally.
 In Dec.2003 a free education camp was organized at soti in
collaboration with NHRDS where in the students were imparted free
education .
 In March 2004 a series of seminars and awareness camps was
organized on communal harmony ,national integration ,youth
leadership, self-employment till may 2002.
 In June 2004 NSWA opened a school “G R Azad students welfare
academy at kakoo Bhalessa doda wherein the needy students are
getting free education.
 In July 2004 orphan welfare programme was organized in various
schools of Bhalessa more than 20 orphans were given free books for
perceiving their studies.
 In March 2005 NSWA facilitated social
workers,NGOs,academicians ,peace activists and meritorious
students of the distt.
 In June 2005 a distt. Level seminar on role of students in national
building was organized at town hall doda wherein more than
16students spoke on the topic.
  In August 2005 NSWA established an information cell to
disseminate the information to youth regarding career development
and self employment programmes launched by the govt. of India.
 In October 2005 NSWA sponsored 10 students for free vocational
training at G R Azad institute of information technology doda.
 In November 2005 NSWA organized a massive campaign on solid
waste management in Bhalessa Doda .

Objectives of association

The association strives to fulfill the following objectives:

 To bring about qualities and quantities improvement in the

existing system of education by opening career and job attended
institution in the distt.doda j&k.
 To promote communal harmony and amity
 To organizes seminars, debates conferences ,women education
programmes,environment awareness programmes in the area.
 To extend humanitarian help to the orphan,needy and
disadvantaged sections of the society .
 To contribute towards the world of science and society at large in
order to rebuild the lives of peoples.
