ANNUAL REPORT 2004-05

Value Inculcation:-

In order to inculcate the cultural and human values among the current among
the current posterity the association organized ,seminars, group discussions, on
truth and non violence at Doda Bhalessa area of doda distt.The overall
programme was presised and inspected by district development commissioner
doda Sh.Gulzar Ahmed Qureshi (KAS) 30 speakers of different area of schools
participated in the seminars. The NGO hold an valedictory ceremony at Town
Hall Doda in which the Shakti Singh Principal Govt. HSS Boys Doda presided
over the ceremony. The functions were organized in cot. 2004.in connection with
the Gandhi Jayanti 2004.
Prizes were distributed among the student and participants.

Child Development;
In order to provide solace to the disadvantaged sections of the students. The
association provided free books to 50 students of Bhalessa in 2005-06.The
stationary items were distributed among the 100 students of the area.

Vocational Training:

The NGO managed two computer centers at doda so as to provide skill based
and job oriented training to the youth and make them self employed. In 2004-05
the organized supported G R Azad Institute of IT at doda for infrastructure.

Free Education:
A free education camp was organized at kilhotran and Soti in cooperation with
NHRDS in 2004-05.

Medical care and physiotherapy:

In 2005 NSWA collected Rs 23000-00 for the treatment of one blood cancer
patient Rukya Banoo of chilly Bhalessa and refered to her for theraphy in AIIMS
New Delhi.

Education ;
NSWA opened a school at kakoo for the disadvantaged, orphans and poor
students in 2004-05.

Youth development through self employment;

NSWA in collaboration with NYK Doda organized a self employment awareness


camp at gandoh in 2005.

Cultural Awakening :

To enable the youth in infusing the sprit of respect to the cultural heritage of j&k
state in general and Bhalessa in particular, The association organized a
composite Muchira at kakoo, Batara and gandoh Bhalessa doda in2005 singers
meet at Bhalessa.

Health:

IPPI Programme at Bhalessa in collaboration with BMO gandoh in 2004-05 in


which the volunteers of NSWA visited door to door step familiariazed the people
about deadly diseases of poilio.

Moreover, the NGO organized inter school debate on AIDS at Gandoh in 2nd of
Dec. 2004 in connection with world Aids Day.

Women and child empowerment:

A seminar on “women and child empowerment” was organized at G.R.Azad


Institute near Dakbungalow Doda in collaboration with field publicity deptt. Doda
in 2005.

Information cell and documentation centre at Bhalessa :


With a view to provide information of the employment avenues around the nation
NSWA established an information cell in which students are getting useful
information of schemes, notifications, career guidance Bhalessa .

Seminar on child labour:

A seminar on topic child labour was organized at the college of Higher education
at Bhalessa doda in which more than 20 speakers threw light on topics as 25
April 2006. The NGO has been managed a compaign named “save child save
nation”.

Environment:
N SWA organized a solid waste management programme at Bhalessa in
collaboration with Govt.Middle School Bharghi and Akhil Bharat Rachnatnak
samaj Bhalessa in march 2006.

Self Employment :

An awareness programme entitled self employment for rural youth was


organized Bhalessa with a view to make the youth familiar of the schemes
launched by central and state govt. In awareness programme more than one
hundered youths were given self employment training in collaboration with field
publicity office doda in june 2006.

Education and Training :

In order to democratize vovationalise system of education ,NSWA opened a


college of Higher Education at Bhalessa .The IGNOU special study centre has
been opened and MOU was signed between IGNOU and NSWA in july 2006.

Vocational Training:
NSWA opened a vocational centre named as N.S.W.A’s institute of education
and vocational training at Khara Bhalessa, wherein 100 students are getting
computer education. The centre was opened in Nov-Dec. 2006.

Cultural Awakening:

With a view to awaken the people with regard to their culture. A series of cultural
programmes, Mushairas and Rathes were organized in March 2006, in
connection with independence day. The programmes related to the cultural
awakening was organized which are as under :-
Cultural programme on 15th March 2006 at Kakoo village of Bhalessa doda .
Composite Mushaira at Gandoh on 5th july 2006.
Seminar of how to strengthen education in human values at Dak Banglow on 4th
Feb. 2006.
Singers meet at Gandoh on 2nd oct. 2006 in connection with Gandhi Jayanti.
