Boston Brawler Challenges - Set 1

Achieve a 5 enemy kill streak - Once you counter or kill an enemy, you

intitate a kill streak. Keep attacking enemies to keep the streak going. If Connor is
interrupted to block or parry, the streak is broken.
Disarm 5 enemies - Must be bare-fisted! Parry an enemy and then press X/A

to disarm them.
Kill 5 enemies affected by a smoke bomb in no more than 10
seconds. - Simply find or attract a group of guards, drop the smoke bomb, and

then assassinate them quickly.

Have the assassin recruits assist Connor in combat 10 times - Once

you've got your first recruit, just press L2/LB during combat to summon them.

to the mission Conflict Looms where you need to air assassinate one to get this.

DIVE INTO WATER FROM A HEIGHT OF 50 METERS

The best place to accomplish this task is in the Diamond Basin area (see screencap above).

There is a large tree trunk that hangs over the lake on top of the hill that Connor can dive from to
achieve the challenge.

You can buy a in-game map for these or use the free IGN map. Completing these will also
unlock new inventions which will net you some trophies and work towards your 100% completion

VISIT ALL TAVERNS

The tavern locations on the map are indicated by two kinds of symbols: a Dice symbol (New York
and the Frontier) or a Liberation symbol (Boston). Most locations are discovered via in-game
missions and the rest have to be found manually by uncovering the map.
Most of the taverns are located within walking distance of a Fast Travel point and usually has 1-2
of your Assassin recruits relaxing by the bar and ready for an Interactive Conversation.

New York Taverns

All of the taverns in New York are located in the East District and are labeled with a Dice symbol.

This tavern is located exactly 30m south of the Presbyterian Church Fast Travel Point. Inside the
tavern will be Jaime and/or Dobby.

This tavern is located exactly 31m east of the Brewery Fast Travel point. Inside the tavern will be
Stephane and/or Dobby.

This tavern is located exactly 133m southwest of the Brewery Fast Travel point (further down
from the tavern above). Inside the tavern wll be Jacob.

This tavern is located exactly 64m northeast of the Bowling Green Fast Travel point. Inside the
tavern will be Jacob and/or Jaime.

This tavern is located 95m northeast of the South Market Fast Travel point. Inside the tavern will
be Stephane.

Frontier Taverns

Monmouth
This tavern is located exactly 127m north of the Monmouth fort. This is the same place where
Connor and Charles Lee had the final confrontation at the end of Sequence 12.

Concord
This is the Wright Tavern where Haytham and the boys hung out during most of Sequence 2 & 3.
This tavern will already be indicated on the map and inside will be Dobby and/or Stephane.

Lexington
The Buckman Tavern is located to the northeast of the General Store in Lexington. Inside the
tavern will be Jaime and/or Duncan.

Lexington
The last tavern in the Frontier is the Munroe Tavern and is located on the eastern tip of Lexington
and Great Piece Hills.

Boston Taverns

All taverns in Boston are labeled with a Liberation symbol.

North District
This tavern is located 24m east of the North Port Fast Travel point. Inside the tavern will be Jacob
and/or Duncan. (This is also the same place where Connor saved Norris from getting assaulted).

Central District

This is the Green Dragon Tavern! It is located exactly 23m east of the Green Dragon Tavern Fast
Travel point. Inside the tavern will be Jaime.

Central District

This tavern is located exactly 87m west of the Fort Hill Fast Travel point. Inside the tavern will be
Stephane and/or Duncan.

South District

This tavern is located exactly 178m northwest of the Fort Hill Fast Travel point. Inside the tavern
will be Dobby and/or Clipper.

Set 1
CATCH A COURIER

Couriers are marked on the map as a red-colored moneybag. The Couriers hold a musket and
run around in circles. If they see you, they run the otherway and shout "Stay away from me!"
Simply chase after them and tackle them down. There is no way for them to spawn so just try to
stay in the busy parts of New York and Boston.
COURIER NOTE

Chasing and/or killing a Courier in front of Redcoats/Patriots will result in instant Notoriety!

KILL 25 ENEMIES FROM HIDING PLACES

There's various types of hiding places throughout the game. Try to find one that is near a
building, then run around and attract the guards. Run back and Eagle dive into the Haystack to
kill them. You could also Whistle. Another tactic is to go to Sequence 9, Missing Supplies,
and just keep restarting the checkpoint after you get in the haystack and kill two guards.
LOOT 10 BODIES

Hold the B/O button to Loot a dead enemy until the action is complete.
PERFORM 25 AIR ASSASSINATIONS

Press Square/X from a high vantage point to perform a Air Assassination. These can also be
done on horseback.
PICKPOCKET 200 POUNDS

Walk up to civilians from behind and press and hold O/B button to pickpocket them.

Set 2
ESCAPE FROM OPEN CONFLICT BY ESCAPING OR HIDING PLACES 10 TIMES

Trigger Open conflict with gurads and then run away. When the indicators of the enemy turn
gray, Connor can then hide in a Hiding spot (using bushes, haystacks, or blending, or sitting on
benches) until the threat subsides.
LURE AWAY A GUARD DOG USING BAIT 3 TIMES

The video and text are two different locations you can go to either one.
At the General store in the middle of the Frontier there is a dog. If you walk up that road just let
it sniff you then run away and throw bait, rinse and repeat.
PERFORM 30 STEALTH KILLS WITHOUT BEING DETECTED

Approach an enemy from behind and use a Low Profile Kill on them and walk away.
STEAL EVERYTHING A GUARD HAS 3 TIMES

Just keep holding O/B to steal everything.

STEAL EVERYTHING A RICH CITIZEN HAS WITHOUT BEING DETECTED

Go to New York or Boston and find people wearing fancy clothes similar to Haytham's and just
pickpocket them.

Prevent an execution [0/3] -- These are usually seculded, but you will have to

take on five redcoats at once.

Plant a false document on a snitch [0/3] -- These are irritating. Firstly, the guy
that hands over the false document says the same thing every time, and it's a
long speech. Secondly, the snitches themselves are very very nervous, and almost
anything will trigger a yellow triangle. Thirdly, if you try the switch in sight of

guards, the guards will attack and the snitch will start beating you up with no way
to kill or stop him.
Beat-up a leader to obtain some information [0/3] -- These will spawn
randomly when you need more than one, and are three bodyguards and a leader.
Be careful where you start attacking, since other guards in range will join the fray.
The leader will cower when the last guard falls, triggering a small cutscence.
