The following checklist will help protect the


health and safety of you and your family when
carrying out fumigation on your farm.
This checklist should be used in conjunction
with the material safety data sheet and
referenceshould also be made to the aluminium
phosphide and chloropicrin fact sheets on
www.workcover.nsw.gov.au

Warning signs include:

Personal protective equipment

To avoid exposure to toxic gases use personal


protective equipment such as:

name, address and contact details of person/s


conducting the fumigation

overalls

24 hour contact number for emergencies.

elbow length gloves

eye protection

full face respirator with appropriate cartridges.
