A wedding is such a special celebration, that we will be honored should you choose our
venue for this very extraordinary day in your life. Please be assured that we shall go
the extra mile to make this experience unforgettable. As a private, family-owned
business, we take pride in our personal attention to detail.
This document should give you an overview of our exquisite offerings. Please see this
as a guide and do not hesitate to contact us for more details.

Ceremony
Garden Ceremony at R2 000 (incl VAT) (Includes the use of the garden gazebo,
brass bell and elegant wrought iron chairs) Domaine Brahms garden has one of
the most beautiful and scenic views overlooking the vineyards and dam and it
easily seats 200 guests. Please keep in mind that it depends on the weather.

Our quaint Chapel is available to you for the ceremony (seats 150 guests) at
no extra charge.

Wedding Venue & Catering

We have two venues with a seating capacity of 80 - 200guests with a dance floor.
Symphony Hall: Fully draped venue with a deck overlooking the dam. Wooden
floors with a tiled dance floor. (Seats 80 200 guests)
Barrel room: Cozy venue decorated with antique music instruments. Next to our
beautiful French courtyard this venue is perfect for small, informal and intimate
weddings (Seats 50 guests).

The Barrel room and French style courtyard are also available for pre-drinks and
welcoming canaps at no extra charge should the Symphony hall be booked for
the reception.

Bar Facilities
Our bar facility is available at R 1000 (incl VAT) including one barman, one
runner, ice and glasses to be used at the bar. Additional bartenders are available
on request at an extra fee.
As the venue is a licensed premises, NO alcoholic beverage
whatsoever,including alcoholic beverages for pre-drinks, may be brought onto
the premises.
We shall gladly facilitate and make available any beverage of your choice.
SHOULD ANY GUEST BRING ALCOHOL ONTO THE PREMISES, IT WILL BE
SUMMARILY CONFISCATED .
Bar strictly closes at 00:00.

Wine & sparkling wine

Our international award winning wines available. The Brahms Celebration Red
blend and Brahms Banquet Chenin Blanc 2011 (only R 100 incl VAT per 2
bottles per table) are an excellent choice for any occasion. (While stocks lasts).
We generally offer JC Le Roux Champagne at R70 per bottle and a range of
other sparkling wines listed on our Sparkling wine list can be ordered for the
special occasion.

 Corkage fee: R40 (incl VAT) per bottle applies should you wish to bring in wine
not supplied by the Domaine Brahms Winery.

Smoking
The venue and bar are strictly non-smoking areas. Smoking is only permitted in open
areas outside and on balconies.

Accommodation
Unfortunately we do not have accommodation on the premises but can supply you with
a list of additional accommodation at neighbouring farms in an 8 km radius.

Florist and Dcor

You are welcome to arrange your own flowers/dcor if you prefer so. Alternatively we
will supply you with a contact list of florists/dcor specialists. The bridal couple will settle
the florist/dcor specialist quotation directly.

Weather
Management will not take responsibility for outdoor events. Should the weather affect
the arrangements of the function, the client will be responsible for all extra costs. It is
the responsibility of the bride to move an outside ceremony to the chapel at least 2 days
in advance should rain be predicted.

Safety & Security

Domaine Brahms is a working farm with unenclosed dam and farming/winemaking
equipment. These may pose a danger for guests and parents must accompany their
children at all times and take full responsibility for children accompanying them and
for their own safety. At an agreed fee supervision could be arranged for children.

Deposit & booking

To secure and confirm the reservation a signed contract (obtainable from the venue
manager on request) should be returned to the veneue manger at Domaine Brahms,
together with the proof of payment of a non-refundable deposit of R7000. This amount
will be deducted from the total invoiceing balance.

After hours charges: R1000 per hour or part thereof. Should you wish to stay afterhours
the additional fee of R1000 per hour has to be paid over prior to the wedding, however
should your guests leave on time,the said fee will be refunded to you.

Our rental rates are calculated according to the scale below. Please note that the prices
below include Value Added Tax. Prices may vary depending on number of guests, time
of year and day of the week.

Please note that the packages below are based on a minimum of 100 guests on
Saturday nights. Alternatively a special package based can be negotiated.
