: Once upon a time, in a far away kingdom

Princess Betty

: What a bright shiny day! (Breathe in fresh air)

(Dibo & Dora throwing stones at Princess Betty) (evil sound effect)
All children

: (teasing)

(Princess Betty run to the garden and fall down)

(A giant frog appear behind the stone)
Dibo & Dora

: Aahhh! A giant frog! (run away)

Princess Betty

: Ahh!!...Erm, youre not going to hurt me, are you?

Frog

: Ribbit.

Princess Betty

: Erm.Wow! You look huge for a frog.

Frog

: Ribbit.

Princess Betty

: HmmmBy the way,erm..thanks for saving my life, frog.

Frog

: Ribbit.

Princess Betty

: Here, I have a mushroom for youTake it

: Ribbit.

Princess Betty

: Oooh You want me to feed you?

: Ribbit.

: Ok, here you go. (stick the mushroom on the frogs tongue)

Frog

: Ribbit (go back to the stone).

(Alice enters and mops the floor)

Princess Betty

: Did Idid I just talk to the frog? Oh my goodness! Im actually

making friend with a frog. Maybe I have a fever? No, I didnt have a
fever. (Run to Alice who is mopping)

Princess Betty

: Alice!!! You got to help me! I just talk to a frog and I treat it like a
like a!

Alice

: Yes, my princess. What did you say again?

Princess Betty

: Ermnever mind. Just dont forget to scrub the floors.

Alice

: Yes, my princess. (continue mopping)

Princess Betty

: ErmAlice.

Alice

Princess Betty

: Why all of the children love to tease and throw stones at me? I just
wanted to be their friend and that is all I ask for.

Alice

: How I wish all these black moles will go away forever! It makes

: (stare at the scrubs with shock face) Just be patient my dear

Princess. One day, you will turn into a beautiful princess whom
everyone wants to befriend.

Princess Betty

: (Throw away the stainless steel scrub) Owh Alice, I wish

everyone will be like you because youre the only one who
understands my feelings. Thanks for everything.

Alice

: Youre welcome, my princess.

SCENE 2
Alice

: (bow) Your Highness.

Queen

: Yes, Alice. Is there anything bothering you? You look sad.

Alice

: Yes, Your Highness. It is about your beloved princess, Princess

Betty.

King

: Why? Is she alright? Did the children harm her again?

Alice

: Well, it is about the curse, Your Highness. Why Your Highness

didnt tell her the truth?

Queen

: Yes, it is the time for her to know the truth as she has already
grown up. She has to know that she has been cursed.

Princess Betty

: (come in) Mom? Dad? Is it true that I had been cursed all this
while? Why didnt you tell me?

(Queen comfort Princess Lily)

King

: Oh, darling! Actually this curse happened since the day you were
born..

SCENE 3
Narrator

: One day, the whole country was filled with joy and happiness as
the royal family had a new born baby, Princess Betty. (happy
sound effect and everyone enter and dance around the stage).
The princess baby was very lovely in form as she had fair skin, rosy
cheeks, beautiful eyes and black shiny hair. While everyone in the
village was celebrating the royal birth, there was one person who
haboured jealousy of the beauty of the new born baby.

Queen

: (holding baby)

King

: (stands besides Queen) She is so pretty just like you.

(thunder and lightning)

Witch

: (wicked laugh) Poor little baby!! I have waited for 15 years to

curse your beloved baby. You know why? Hahaha...I want her to
feel the way that I had felt after all these years. (point at the king)
Not being loved by the one I love the most. (take the baby)
HahahaI curse you from today onwards that you will become the
ugliest person in the whole universe. (throw the baby back to the
queen)

Queen

: ErmWhy is my baby still look as lovely as me??? (show to the

audience)

Witch

: What!?!!! Give me that! (Put pottu on the baby face & show the
audience) Nah!!! (throw the baby back to the queen)

King and Queen

: NOOOOOOO!!!!!

Queen

: (sobbing) I couldnt believe that my best friend has not only

changed into a wicked witch but she has placed a curse on my only
child too.

Narrator

: The King and Queen were so shocked of the curse made by the
Witch which was once the Queens best friend. They are afraid to
tell their little princess of the curse which is being laid upon her. The
King & Queen went to seek the fairy to break the curse.

Queen and King

: (walk to the garden to see the fairy)

(King uses the sword to cut the branches.)

(children enter and play with the flowers at the front stage)
King

: Here we are. This is where the fairy lives.

Queen

: My King, errI didnt see any fairies here.

King

: Lets go and ask the children over there. Maybe, they know where
is the fairy.

Queen

: Excuse me, children. Have you seen a fairy who used to live
here?

Child 1

: Yes, its green in colour.

Queen

: What?!

Child 2

: It also has two big giant eyes.

Child 1

: and a loooong tongue.

Child 2

: Dont forget, it also walks on four legs.

King

: Dont tell me that the fairy is a frog!

Children

: You got it right! Hahaha! (run away)

Queen

: Wait! We havent finished our question yet!

King

: (Search behind the grasses) Im very sure that the fairy lives
here.

Queen

: (Search behind the stone)

Frog

: (come out from the stone) Ribbit!

Queen

: Ahhh! A giant frog!

King

: (Take out the sword to protect the Queen) Stand back, my

Queen!

Frog

: Do not be afraid, Your Highness.

Queen

: (shock & frighten) The frog speaks! The frog speaks!

King

: Show yourself! Are you the fairy that we seek?

Frog

: Yes, it is I, Your Highness. One moment please. (Frog go back to

the stone & transform into a fairy)

Fairy

: Im very sorry for giving you a fright, Your Highness.

Queen

: Why of all the creatures, you choose to disguise as a frog?

(Children enter and laughing)

Child 1

: So that no one knows that theres a fairy who lives here.

Child 2

: Yes, especially the witch! Shell kill us all!

Fairy

: Hush, my little ones. (say to the children) Your Highness, I am

aware that you have come to seek help for your little princess. I am
afraid that I cant help you my King & Queen.

Queen

: Please, you are the only hope that we have to break the princess
curse.

Fairy

: (Sighed) Im afraid that there is only one way to break the curse
that is

King

: That is

Fairy

: That is the little princess must find true friendship.

King

: Thank you, fairy.

Fairy

: That is the least that I can do, Your Highness.

SCENE 4
Princess Betty

: (walk in) Hmm..I see. So from now on I must find a true friend.
(walk to the children) Come, lets be friends!

Children

: (throw stones and run away) Ugly Princess..Nye..nye..nye..nye..

Princess Betty

: (Crying) I will never be able to break the curse. Wait a minute!

Maybe the frog can break the curse, if I make friend with it. Ooooh,
froggie! Where are you? Come out (2X) where you are. Where did
it go? (Saw a mushroom and pluck it) I got a delicious mushroom
your favourite. Come on, dont play hide & seek with me.

(somebody throw a leaf from the side of the garden)

Princess Betty

: Oh! It must be the frog! Im coming froggie! I will not keep you
waiting.

Narrator

: However, Princess Betty failed to find a true friend. (King

standing with the scroll) Therefore, the King issued that the royal
family will reward those who are able to break the curse by forming
a strong friendship bond with the princess.

Princess Betty

: (walking out wearing mask and walk to the children) Can we

be friends?

Children

: (go towards the princess happily)

Hokey Pokey Song=dance (happy)

Dibo

: We are able to break the curse, right?

Dora and Dibo

: Right? Right? Right? Where is our reward?

Princess Betty

: (touch her face) But why theres nothing changes on my face?

Im still ugly as usual.

Dora

: (pluck the mole from the princess face) What?! You are still
ugly?

Princess Betty

: (snatch the mole back from Dora) No!!! It brings good luck!!!

Dibo

: But! We have play with you for the whole day!

Dora and Dibo

: Now we want our reward!

Princess Betty

: So all this while you played with me just to get the reward?

Dora and Dibo

: Yes, of course! You, ugly princess! (throw stones)

Princess Betty

: How could you do this to me? I am your princess! (run out)

SCENE 5
Narrator

: At the same time, there was chaos in the palace kitchen.

Chef

: (Sighed) Where should I keep this bread? Aha! Right over there!
You will be safe over here, bread. (keep the bread at a weird
place).

Alice

: Oh! I am very hungry and surely my children are hungry too!

(searching for food) Oh! Theres bread! (stealing the bread) Are
you hungry too, children? (Give the bread to the children)

Children

: Yes! (Eat the bread)

Chef

: Who stole my bread?!!

Narrator

: Alice stole the bread to feed her 2 hungry children. She could not
bear to see her children starve to death. (Alice feeds her children)
(Princess Betty peeking)

King

: (walk in and witness the incident) How could you do this? I trust
you!

Queen

: Alice, I cant believe this

King

: I order that you will be locked up in the prison for the rest of your
life!

Princess Betty

: Noooo! Father!!! She is innocent! She just wanted to feed her two
starving children.

King

: Why you didnt share your problem with me? Dont you know that I
can help you.

Alice

: Oh, my merciful King. I have no right to ask for Your Highnesss

help for I am only just a maid.

Queen

: (tell to the king) Please dont punish her.

King

: Alright. I forgive you but next time, please do not steal again.

Alice

: (bow) Yes, Your Highness.

Narrator

: Suddenly, a miracle happened.

(Miracle song=dance)
Narrator

: The curse had been broken. (change to fairy)

All

: (look at princess) Who are you?

Princess Betty

: (puzzled) I am Princess Betty. Your daughter!

Alice

: But wheres your giant moles?!!

Queen

: Its gone!

King

: She looks just like you, my Queen!

Dora

: The princess is beautiful again!!!

Dibo

: Lets befriend with her!

Fairy

: Congratulations!!! You have broken the spell (happy sound)

because you had found true friendship, my dear princess!

All

: and they live happily ever after.
