EXT. CIRCUS-NIGHT
Rain streams down rusted patched metal. A dark shadow looms
over the unsuspecting town, a force of evil. The circus has
arrived, bringing horror and despair with it.

EXT. CIRCUS-DAY
Two Children approach the large archway, a mix of awe and
excitement jumps across their faces as they stare down the
dark passage way.
INT. TUNNEL
The circus grounds creak, and rumble as the two begin to
Holding onto each other the two continue down the long
tunnel, the voices echoing louder and louder. Bouncing off
of the walls. James grips his sisters hand tight.
SAMANTHA
Don't worry, we will be at the
other end soon.
INT. CIRCUS-DAY
As they emerge from the dark hallway, they are greeted by an
unimaginable sight. Aged rides, rusted metal jutting out
from their ancient mechanisms. Years of paint and metal
cover the monolithic pillars, supporting an old creaky
ferris wheel, protruding from the trashed ground.
Tents blow in the wind, Tattered and patched, as if they
have been repaired over the years, never being replaced.
As the two turn to leave a voice reverberates from a nearby
doorway.
CIRCUS OWNER
Welcome to my humble abode
Light hits the mysterious man, stretching long, bony fingers
towards the children he juts forward. Sweeping down, into an
exaggerated bow. His skin a strange white pigment, covered
in stitches and thread, like a puppet close to completion.
With wide eyes and extended arms he beckons the children.
CIRCUS OWNER
Wont you take a look around,
There's something for everyone
here.
SAMANTHA
I think we're just going to...
Before she can finish the man floats back into the tent, a
large grin on his face. Turning to leave they are shocked to
see the entrance has closed. Sealed shut by unseen forces
and too heavy to have been shut so quietly.
Accepting their fate the two start to delve deeper into the
grounds. Metallic structures, no longer resembling the
machines that used to bring so much joy to children
everywhere, creak in the wind. Straining to hold themselves
up. Thread streaks between them, catching anything that may
fall or get entangled in its thick strands.
Silence fills the park. Occasionally broken by the distant
laughter that disappears from ear shot as they move further
EXT CIRCUS-DAY
A group of children approach the Large, black doorway of the
circus. Full of wonder and excitement they enter the park.
Laughter fills the air.
