Designed a MPPT solar cell battery charger; involved with power stage, control and MPPT algorithm

Successfully implemented a PMSG controller in Simulink to track optimal tip velocity for MPPT

Learned about DQ axis theory for induction and permanent magnet motors

Designed a PI DQO controller to control torque such that optimal tip velocity was achieved

Designed Guitar Hero(video game) clone based on a Altera DE2-115(Cyclone IV) in VHDL

Programmed FPGA to display video on a LCD monitor

Successfully designed a high speed (5Mhz) NTSC video decoder using analog circuitry

Designed vertical, horizontal syncing circuits, high speed buffers, filters using opamps

Utilized current feedback operational amplifiers to achieve high bandwidth

Designed self-running and auto-syncing oscillators using 555 timers

Designed a digitally implemented analog delay based around a serial SRAM and a dsPIC33

Utilized SPI communication to access a 1MBIT memory chip where a buffer was implemented

Simulated analog portion of the circuit in LTSpice, PCB was designed in Altium and etched at home

Synchronized operation of DAC/ADC/Memory read/writes to achieve proper operation
