To,

SHO, Police Station,

Pataudi (Gurgaon).
Subject: FIR against Soha Ali Khan and others.
Greetings,
Kindly refer to the orders passed by the Honble Special Environment Court at
Faridabad, in FIR No. 191, which was lodged with Jhajjar Police and all 6 accused
were convicted for three years with fine, where as weapon was misused, in said
crime was on the name of Soha Ali Khan, same was transferred by her brother Saif
Ali Khan, where as her arms license was proved to be illegal.
Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi was claimed to be a Nawab of Pataudi and Bhopal but he
was very found of hunting, there were many weapons with this family, a .22 bore
rifle No. 91501 was belongs to Saleha Sultan, this rifle was transferred to Saif Ali
Khan and then to Soha Ali Khan, this rifle was confiscated by the Jhajjar Police in FIR
No. 191 dated June 5, 2005 for hunting female black buck along with two hares by
the team of Pataudi. Naresh Kadian moved a petition under RTI Act, 2005 to know
the actual age of Soha Ali Khan, at the time of issuance of Arms license No.
1/DM/G/November/1996, proper opportunity were given to her and at last District
Magistrate, Gurgaon found that she was not eligible to get arms license under Arms
Act being an minor below 21 of age, she applied to renewal her Arms license again
after Jhajjar Police confiscation of her rifle on dated 7-9-2005 but with out
confirmation, physical verification of rifle, her license was renewed, where as she
concealed the facts and concerned SDM along with Police officers failed to perform
their official duties. In fact it is very interesting case of misuse of power and
Authority, criminal conspiracy, cheating, concealing facts, misrepresentation at the
level of Soha Ali Khan, her Arms issuing Authority, renewing Authority, giving
permission as retainer Authority and it was happened due to Pataudi family very
closeness with the High profile leaders of then ruling Congress Party, where as her
Arms license was cancelled vide DM order dated May 8, 2008 but this order was
challenged by her but same appeal was also dismissed by the Divisional
Commissioner on dated 6-5-2010 in File No. EA 16/2008-9. It would be pertinent to
mention here that Naresh Kadian approached both Authorities at Gurgaon and
Jhajjar but till today she is neither involved in FIR No. 191 by the Jhajar Police nor

any FIR lodged by the Gurgaon Police, it is further intimated that neither any
Authority hold guilty for misusing power, criminal conspiracy, misrepresentation and
concealing facts during her issuance of Arms license with out eligibility, passing
order as retainer and then renewal, like wise not involving her in FIR No. 191, where
as both Jhajjar and Gurgaon Police passing bucks, Naresh Kadian complaints here
and there but no legal action has been taken so far, which seems to be double
standards for high profile persons. Hence United Nation affiliated OIPA www.oipa.org
chapter in India demands that:
1. The Authority issued Arms License to Soha Ali Khan be booked.
2. The Authority allowed transfer of Arms from Saif Ali Khan to Soha Ali Khan also be
booked.
3. The Authority renewed Soha Ali Khan Arms license also be booked.
4. Soha Ali Khan also needs to be booked.
5. All Police officers, who failed to perform their official duties needs to be charge
sheeted, placed under suspension with out any further delay. It would also be
pertinent to mention here that Nawab Pataudi is no more and co-accused Shashi
Singh of FIR No. 191 moved to the High Court for cancellation of FIR and Police is
giving undue time and benefits to Soha Ali Khan, where as final judgement on said
FIR has been announced by the competent court of law on January 29, 2015. It
would also be pertinent to mention here that then ADC, Gurgaon also conducted a
regular inquiry, photo copies all relevant papers are attached here with as ready
reference.
So again SHO, Pataudi is here by requested to please set precedent and take strict
legal action against all offenders, responsible persons, might be her relevant files go
missing now, to destroy the evidences, hence it is a clear cut violation of Arms Act
read with the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, IPC 120-B, 420, 428-429 etc.
Sincerely yours,

Naresh Kadian,
Volunteer, Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (Ministry of Environment and Forest),
