A MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF THE FISH AUCTION (TFA) IN

PONDOKDADAP SENDANGBIRU DISTRICT, MALANG REGENCY, EAST JAVA

The research was conducted in TFA Pondokdadap Sendangbiru, Malang, East Java in August and
September 2014. The aim of this study was to determine the management of TFA and the impact
of TFAs existence to the increased influence of economic and environmental aspects. The data
used are primary data and secondary data. The method that was used is descriptive qualitative.
The technique that was used to determine researchs informants is purposive sampling technique.
TFA in Sendangbiru is very influential on people's lives in coastal areas. The management of
TFA Sendangbiru performed several functions: Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and
Controlling. Those management functions are aimed to organize and to know the shortcomings
of the implementation of the existing management at TFA. Some of the issues that need to be
addressed are especially in the field of supervision during the fish unloaded from the ship to the
tender process while the government should pay more attention to the presence of infrastructure
at TFA, in order to launch an auction process in TFA well. The good impact of TFAs presence in
Sendangbiru, in the economics aspect of the research that has been done, is that the people in
Sendangbiru get more income.

A FROZEN SHRIMP PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT (Sea shrimp) AT. "MISAJA PARTNER


PATI" CENTRAL JAVA

The Field Work Practice was conducted at PT. Misaja Partner Pati, Central Java on
13rd to 31st July 2013. It was held every day in accordance with the schedule agreed upon
with the company The purpose of this field practice is to determine the profile of PT. Misaja
Partner Starch, frozen factors shrimp production management, and to identify supporting
and inhibiting factors of the implementation of the production management of frozen
shrimp (sea shrimp) in PT. Misaja Partner Starch. The company is engaged in the business
of freezing shrimp. Frozen shrimp product is exported to Japan. The methods implemented
in The Field Work Practice are observation, interviews, active participation, documentation
and literature studies. The profile of PT. Misaja Partner Pati is that his company was
established on April 19, 1984 and started to operate on April 19, 1994. The management
production processes in PT. Misaja Starch Partners are the planning process, movement,
and organization. The factors that support the implementation: 1) Planning in the company
with sufficient availability of capital company, the availability of adequate raw materials to
suppliers who are already fixed, supporting infrastructure is relatively new in 2013 and has
reduced inhibit the progress of production, employment in the company and does not have
enough available hard for in the search, 2) Organizing in the PT. Misaja Partner Starch has
systematically arranged and has been able to enhance the surveillance system on
production systems.
