Physical form description & explanation

PROBLEMS
User does not trust the bank representatives so they want to do perform most of the transactions on their own
& wants a record of their transactions.
One user have basic education so he can read and write but other cannot.
One user carry a ATM Card other does not have a ATM Card and require other medium (like biometric etc.) for
identity and authentication.
No or very limited power sources for operating/charging the device.
Bank Representatives need to carry separate calculators to do various calculations and summing up the days
activities.
Bank Representatives always have to hold to device in their hand. Or always keep it and take it out from their
bags.
Use of One time passwords (OTP) instead of Pin codes for the ATM withdrawals. This is of high significance in a
rural setting where the users might not be tech savvy to understand the importance of keeping a password
secure.

SOLUTIONS
Apart from the form & physical appearance, certain design incorporation is needed in management of information flow.
For e.g.
OTP should be sent for the next transaction only instead of for the current one, so that even if connectivity is a
problem for the user, it wont stop or delay user from using the micro ATM machine
For verification purposes, either the machine for different zones should be kept separately so that the data once fed does not
need an online system to verify the details, should be capable of verifying even offline
(Large storage & every m/c would have to be updated nearly every week)
Solar battery charger (like calculators use) should be incorporated in the machine as well as a small dynamo battery charge
should be provided which can be just rotated to charge the battery
Instead of static images for various options (banking) a motion picture (like on billboards & games like snakes) should be used in
order to explain the process & reach out to the illiterate user at the most basic level
