1. GaLa Reinforcement Version 2.1
---------------------------------------------The GaLa Reinforcement main purpose is to analyze reinforced concrete sections
of arbitrary geometry and steel reinforcement. GaLa Reinforcement can calculate
necessary reinforcement, section ratios, generate Safety charts (failure surfac
es),
calculate strains, stresses, curvatures and stifnesses (order II, with creeping
)
and crack widths for any reinforced concrete cross - section.
Supported concrete design codes: Eurocode 2 , ACI 318 , CSA A23.3, BS 8110, BDS
GaLa Reinforcement is a fully graphical Windows program, and is available in t
wo
different versions: Standard, and Professional
Both versions require Windows 9x, NT, Me or 2000 to be running on your computer
.
Input data, analysis and display of results are all performed
within the GaLa Reinforcement graphical user interface.
GaLa Reinforcement is a extensive program, featuring a friendly and powerful
graphical user interface and sophisticated analytical capabilities.
For users who already have GaLa Reinforcement Version 2.1 , we recommend that
you remove
the previous version of the program and begin using Version 2.1 as soon as po
ssible in
order to take advantage of the latest features, improvements, and error correcti
ons.
2. System Requirements

---------------------------------------------The following are required to run and use GaLa Reinforcement :

CPU :
Pentium - 150Mhz (minimum) / Pentium 233Mhz or higher (recommen
ded).
Memory :
16MB (minimum) / 32MB (recommended).
Hard Disk space :
4MB required for GaLa Reinforcement and associated Help
Files.
Video Card :
VGA (minimum) / SVGA >256 colors (recommended).
Screen Resolution :
800x600 or higher
Operating Systems :
Windows 95, 98, NT, Me, 2000
Screen DPI :
Small fonts , 96 dpi (recommended)
3. Installation
----------------------------------------------------------Run SETUP, and follow steps.
4. Un-installation
----------------------------------------------------------To remove an installation of GaLa Reinforcement you need to do the following:
Click on the Windows < Start > button
Select < Settings >
Select < Control Panel >
Double-click on the < Add/Remove Programs> icon
Select < Gala> from the list
Click on the < Add/Remove > button
Follow the on-screen instructions
GaLa Reinforcement will now be automatically removed from your system,
including any registry settings modified or created.
