Once you open a file within the Editor using the Open (File menu) command, a file is
displayed in a window that is sizeable and moveable.
The contents of the window can be scrolled horizontally and vertically. Most of the text is
displayed as black on white. Depending on the control type, special word IDs or key words are
highlighted in red, and remarks within the text are coloured green. The sequence number is
coloured blue (although you can configure the colours as required in the Miscellaneous tab of
the Options (Settings menu) command).

Comparing Two Files

TheFile Compare (Compare menu)
command identifies the differences between the
active open file and another open file. The comparison can either be a straight text comparison
or the comparison of specific words by value.

The comparison is then carried out, beginning at the current text cursor position in each
window.
