Mayor Robb:

I doubt I need an introduction my name is Thomas H. Wright III and our law firm
represents Timothy Chaz Stevens, owner of the website www.myactsofsedition.com. I
would venture to guess that over the years Mr. Stevens has proven to be quite the thorn in
your side as a result of his political activism and watchdog activities.

His political views aside, it has come to our attention that you have willfully, maliciously
and repeatedly suggested to multiple individuals that Mr. Stevens has and continues to
accuse Father Bryan Dalton of St. Ambrose Church of being a pedophile. In your attempt
to garner support for candidate Ron Coddington from the St. Ambrose congregation by
aligning Commissioner Joe Miller with Mr. Stevens, and in turn alleging that Mr. Stevens
is calling Father Dalton a pedophile, you are engaging in malicious slander. Your
statements/conclusions have absolutely no basis in fact whatsoever. Considering the
animosity you openly have for my client, one would think that you would at least take the
time to carefully read his posts and articles before making such a grossly incorrect
statement. At no time has or would Mr. Stevens accuse Father Dalton of a criminal act
unless he had competent, verifiable evidence suggesting same; if that was the case it most
likely would have been published.

Without question, our client harbors certain disdain for the Catholic Church due to
ongoing criminal investigations within its walls, but that has no bearing whatsoever on
Father Dalton individually. The conclusion you have drawn is irresponsible and
reprehensible; it is also actionable.

You are being offered this one and only opportunity to make a public retraction of your
incorrect statements on the dais, and are further instructed to cease and desist from any
further unwarranted defamation of our client. Failure to do so may result in legal action
without further warning. Considering the bevy of issues on your plate at the moment, one
would think additional legal action is most unwelcome at this time.
