MUNICIPAL RESOLUTION NO. 062-2014

EXTENDING A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE BEREAVED
FAMILY OF THE LATE MRS. ENCARNACION A. OROPESA OF INAMNAN PEQUEO,
GUINOBATAN, ALBAY, CHARGEABLE AGAINST APPROPRIATE FUNDS OF THE LGU FOR
THE PURPOSE.

WHEREAS,

this august body has received the regretful news that the mother of Mr. Allan A.
Oropesa, an SB legislative aide for a long time, passed away last May 7, 2014;

WHEREAS,

Mr. Oropesa has been and is continuously rendering efficient and competent
services for the benefit of this local government. This august body appreciates this
and recognizes the difficulty that he and his family are undergoing right now due to
the passing away of her loving mother, Mrs. Encarnacion A. Oropesa;

WHEREAS,

it is only fitting for the LGU to extend its support, morally and financially, to them to
somehow alleviate their needs in this difficult time;

WHEREAS,

it is not the amount that counts but it is how we show our care and concern for our
fellow employee whom we consider as human asset of our institution being an
effective and loyal partner of the LGU for development in his field of assignment;

WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing premises, be it now:

RESOLVED,

as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan of Guinobatan, Albay in

session assembled, to extend as it hereby extends a considerable amount of
financial/burial assistance to the bereaved family of the late Mrs. Encarnacion A.
Oropesa of Inamnan Pequeo, Guinobatan, Albay, chargeable against appropriate
funds of the LGU for the purpose.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that an amount of Twenty-Two Thousand Pesos (Php22,000.00) shall be

extended to the bereaved family, chargeable against the appropriation for donation
of the Honorable Vice-Mayor and the following Municipal Councilors in the amount
opposite their names, to wit: Vice-Mayor Julio S. Tingzon IV: Php 2,000.00,
Councilor Rolando P. Palabrica: Php 2,000.00, Councilor Juris L. Villareal: Php
2,000.00, Councilor Ryan B. Palomillo: Php 2,000.00, Councilor FJ M. Oxales:
Php 2,000.00, Councilor Ricky S. Matza: Php 3,000.00, Councilor Robert M.
Baaga: Php 5,000.00, Councilor Maria Sofia O. Orpiada: Php 2,000.00 and
Councilor Jose M. Padilla: Php 2,000.00.
RESOLVED LASTLY, that a copy of this resolution be furnished the bereaved family of the late
Mrs. Encarnacion A. Oropesa, and such other concerned offices or agencies, for
their information and appropriate action.
APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY, on motion of Honorable Councilor Ricky S. Matza and duly
seconded by the members present this 12 th day of May, 2014 during their 16 th
Regular Session.
